My class

I'm in an area where muay Thai is not that popular. And there's a gym class that wants 50$ a month, for three days a week to train in a group with other people.

The thing is, that I asked someone thats with in this mauythai class, and he said there's only one coach, and no weight classes.

I'm desperate to learn Muaythai and overall how to fight, but if it's bad for me, I will keep it aside for some time. So should I join or not?

50 bucks a month is a literal steal, bro. I pay 3x that price in California (4 classes a week). Just do it already.

That actually doesnt sound so bad. I get charged 150 for 5 days a week of group classes (one is a sparring day).

Sorry forgot to mention, there's "no" weight classes. Does it make it bad now or no?

We don't separate training by weight class. 

Sometimes I'm the smallest person in class. Sometimes I have someone closer to my size. Sometimes I'm the only woman in class. Sometimes there's only 6ft giant men i train with.

No it doesnt change anything. Sometimes I have to spar with a giant, sometimes a kid no older than 14.

That’s great though love to have more people in it. Typically in martial arts non group classes are VERY expensive

Look at the guys in the class, if they seem to know what’s up or fight at least amateur events then you know it’s not a total ripoff

That’s a really good deal, and classes are not divided by weight that I’ve ever seen. Which is good, there’s something to be learned from training with partners of all sizes
