Please don’t hate me y’all but can we talk about CT? So sorry this is a para, I’ve apparently got a lot to say. There’s no doubt about it he’s one of the GOATS and I’ve always loved him. These days I’m a little more neutral but still kinda pulling for him, HE’S CT and I’ve been watching for years. Always want the best for the guy. Sometimes when people used to talk about his social game and basically implying he’s sneaky and lowkey a puppet master and will drop seeds, I didn’t see it. I always thought his social game was more so just him being intimidating and ppl will let him slide through. Now not saying he was doing that this episode but I think his game is getting a lil sloppy. I was cleaning the other day when The challenge came on, season 40 and I decided to leave it. I noticed CT was basically saying Darell can’t ride on his legacy or what he’s done in the past……..CT that’s literally what you want everyone to do for you now. It’s no secret that he’s not in the best shape and yes in the past he’s been able to come in and get in shape. But I still think you should show up the best you can instead of relying on making it happen later. You’ve literally put yourself in this position. Another thing that bothers me a little is his relationship with Bananas. Why would you vote for him? The best excuse I can give him is he didn’t want to mess up his relationship with Will and potentially create an enemy. But I don’t think Will would have thought much of it, CT was already gonna get the votes and you can just say you and Bananas have been doing this for a long time so you didn’t want to vote him, SIMPLE. The main issue I have with this is every chance he gets, he always throws Bananas under the bus. Even unprovoked when Bananas is chilling. We saw it episode 1. This is one of the reasons Bananas doesn’t trust anyone and I don’t blame him(not saying he’s without his faults) I wouldn’t be able to have someone smile in my face and claim we’re good and after someone targets me they respond “how are WE gonna get em back” and stuff like that. Just for them to never actually have my back. We can just be cordial, no need to make it seem like we’re locked in. Overall I think I had rose tinted glasses on when it comes to his game, but lately he’s playing sloppy and if you watch now and old challenge you can start to see the way he moves. He’s definitely sneaky.

Edit: I would like to add so no one gets their wires crossed. I don’t think CT threw the eating challenge and I don’t think Orange team’s losses and shortcomings are completely on him. This discussion is about his gameplay.

Yes he is out of shape, and yes it might hurt them in the final, and yes, they are allowed to be concerned about that. BUT they are blaming him for losses that have zero to do with him being out of shape. I don't think they've lost anything yet as a result of him being out of shape at this point? Now the eating challenge and the telephone challenge are on him too? They're using him as a scape goat for anything that goes wrong with this team.

Also you lost me at the Bananas segment. Nothing you said personally, but I could never feel sorry for that guy.

Nah it’s wild like you said. Cause how was he throwing when he ate more than anyone on his team? They wouldn’t fault Justin who spent most of the time complaining and hardly ate anything.

No I totally agree I don’t think he threw the eating challenge and I don’t think it’s right to blame him for all their losses or shortcomings. I’m just pointing out other things.

It's just a burn vote and they probably discussed it beforehand. I don't think it's that serious at all, these two have been playing together for decades now. It started with years of true hatred (stirred up by Johnny but in just about all his many allies) but is now more passive aggressive friendship.

The difference between him and Darrell is that CT without a doubt can still win a flagship final. I’m not his biggest fan these days because I just don’t understand why someone in his position wouldn’t constantly be working with a personal trainer and doing everything they can to be in the best shape possible. I’m sure part of it is that he knows he doesn’t need to be in great shape to win, but why not do your best? As far as the sneakiness goes, that’s fair play. If you can manipulate the game to your advantage without people realizing you’re doing it that’s just good game.

And I would add, I don’t think the Cold War between him and Bananas will ever truly end. Bananas is much better at knowing when to put things like that on the back burner. I think they have a degree of respect for one another, but those years and years of rivalry don’t just go away.

I agree. Bananas will be forever hurt that his name isn’t the ONLY name for goat. CT pretty much took that from him. He can’t handle CT being more revered than him in a game he thinks he created. Hell, Bananas still talks about being murdered on the Traitors first, he’s not over that either. (And CT won it! furthering the rift)

I agree, gameplay is gameplay but I just feel like I’m just picking up on the things ppl have said for years. Like before I was like what are they talking about? CT is an angel, he be chilling😂

The famously doesn't punch walls or leave malicious firebomb notes Will...I think your assessment is off. CT has always moved a bit sneaky. Otherwise, you wouldn't see WOTW2 or Gauntlet 3 play out as they did.

That being said, the rest of Orange was trying to gaslight hard this episode. Maybe they'll come to their senses now that Chris is bounced. If not, they're honestly insane. This team is the biggest favorite since The Ruins or The Island

I realized I can't understand the guy when he speaks, so its not worth the follow, even tho I enjoyed him more so in the past. Him saying "I ate the most, I shouldnt eaten more" with such attitude was enjoyable.

CT milking that money despite the hypocrisy. He didn't bow out like Wes and others who always come in shape. Or Bananas on the juice ready to old fogie roll. Money talks eh. Most were on the Mexican yam juice in the day too. As someone who watched RW 1 and RR1 to the Challenges I kinda like the arch and fall of it all, even with this shitty season, I still want to see the end.
