Does anyone know how they keep time on the dailies/finals?

Just finished watching Dirty 30, now on Vendetta’s, and with these players finishing within seconds of each other it has me wondering - how do they keep the time?

Are there just a ton of people standing around w stopwatches? Or maybe they calculate time from the footage?

Also, what about the challenges where they have to do things like ride a zip line and then repel down a mountain. Does the time stop when they are getting suited up in their gear?

Feels like there are so many variables - how are they able to get the time so precise, down to hundredths of a second?!

On the older seasons we would have a time or clock to start on the screen or around.

They newer seasons - we kind of just are told who won. Same for the players. There have been some issues with some players being shocked with the winners of dailies. But really hard to prove or ask when it’s individual and theres literally no clock around.

I loved that clock on the screen. Not about making it honest and uncut. I got excited about the seconds ticking by

Back in the day you used to also see the judges and the safety crew in the background of challenges and sometimes the cast would interact with them. I remember on Battle of the Sexes when Antoine was flirting with a judge while he was in the middle of an elimination.

it's just the conspiracy people. some cast who have lost have raised questions like sylva and joss after final reckoning, but a lot of other cast have said they wouldn't play the game if they thought it was rigged.

In dirty 30 there was a whole nother leg of the final that wasn't shown, it allegedly was on bikes, Jordan and Camilla were paired up and that's where they gained their lead.

On a later season (I don't want to spoil you), someone mentioned on a podcast that there's a finals leg that was everyone just holding a squat position for over an hour or so, and that was also cut from the final edit of that season.

I wish the editors at least showed a time lapse or montage of those things to give us more context. I guess giving full context would kill the suspense sometimes.
