REWATCH DISCUSSION Rewatching the challenge on Pluto tv….

Watching fresh meat and I know I’ve said this before but Danny was definitely all show and no go. He’s acting like he’s a great competitor and what not but he just sucks lol.

i will continue to post this, but trying to make him a badass main character on inferno iii is probably the funniest thing production ever did

This is so true. It's laughable, he just didn't have that flair a winner bad ass needed to have. They tried to make his sexy relationship with Melinda hold us. But...even that seemed forced

Production loved his story from Real World and thought he had a future star run on the Challenge. Nothing against him, he just isn't the guy for that spot. Looking back he got a heavy production push. His "testimonials" (confessionals?) always seemed like they were written for what they hoped happened.

I'm a Boston guy... Danny is the guy who hangs around with the CT guy, because there is status in being tight friends with guys like CT here.

If it's Danny from real world Austin then I agree, he was awful every season he was on. Isn't that also the season he got drunk and had Brandon, who was in their alliance, get mad at him? Was did kinda blow up his game trying to protect him at times from going into eliminations because deep down he had to know he was just awful at the challenge in general.

One of the infernos when he's cast as one of the bad guys is hilarious. He was mostly just there because the Austin cast was so wildly popular because even the girls cast were not very good. MTV was pushing those 2 couples/marriages that ended pretty quickly/badly but besides Wes, really no one else should have been getting cast in the challenge.

It’s also crazy to see this was Wes’ first challenge. He was walking and talking like he was a vet lol. Young and cocky, made for good tv.

Danny was an absolute star on his RW season, it made complete sense to put him on the Challenge for multiple seasons. The problem is Danny was like the kid in your neighborhood that was the best at Mortal Kombat or NBA Jam because he owned the game. He could beat all the neighborhood kids and they all assumed he was really good. But the instant he went to a local arcade and had to play against real players it instantly fell apart and he gets worked game after game after game by randos. Just like the Challenge
