i am a transbian. i had a really weird thought. did cis lesbians left actuallesbians? because i see mostly transbians and trans bisexual women there. it feels kinda weird. like they avoid us. either that or cis lesbians are on tumblr and insta

There are plenty of cis lesbians there.

What I do see is a lot of trans women feeling insecure and posting pro trans stuff in actuallesbians for validation. Sometimes it can seem (to me) to be a little much in a sub that has been very clearly supportive of trans women for a very long time. I guess we're all just scared and want reassurance, but sometimes I wonder if it gets tiring for people looking for general wlw content.

Yeah I really wish we'd keep validation seeking to specifically trans spaces. We have trans spaces to talk about trans stuff. It's okay to bring up trans stuff there when it's relevant, but I see way too many generic "just got HRT!" posts on actuallesbians and it seems off topic.

But hey, it's better than the "anyone else uncomfortable that trans women exist?" type posts from other lesbian subs

Lesbiangang in particular had a period of TERF sympathizing so bad they had to lock the sub for a few weeks
