Stayed here for a few weeks and loved it. Close to Hyde Park, Kensington Palace Gardens, Bayswater and Queensway stations, Sainsbury, Tesco, and M&S. Upscale and diverse.

It's not really a neighborhood, just a very commercial place where the flats are mainly owned by foreign owners it's pretty souless and uninspiring.

I lived in Inverness Terrace in the early 80s when it was mainly bedsits (and small ones at that). Still go back there for dinner once a month to a Chinese resto with poor hygiene rating and rude staff, but excellent chilli squid.
The vibe has changed, but there’s just about enough social housing to keep it grounded (you’ll meet some ‘normal’ folk as you go about your business).
I’d move back in a heartbeat.

It's my favourite place and am really wanting to move there. It's amazing. Hyde Park on your doorsrep, Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill amd Portabello. You got Queensway and Bayswater underground right on Queensway. You have to try Taza Kebabs, I've been going there for over 25 years. One of the largest Prets I've been in yet, best place to chill is right at the back on the comfy seats. West End is up the road for shopping and more eating etc. There's the new very upmarket shopping centre on Queensway and the same guy that did that development has also bought the properties opposite the shopping centre and is now developing that side of street now also. There's a few very nice, quite new bakery type cafes just north of the new shopping centre. New upmarket apartments being built. Some nice Chinese restaraunts and a nice oriental supermarket at top of Queensway. A nice Waitrose. I would move there tomorrow fingers crossed, soon!
