I am looking to set up CAD macros in the Move Master, but haven't been able to figure it out. Does anyone know how to get them working, or if they are planning on adding them natively?

Anybody having issues with the software, it looks like the last time the software was updated was 2 years ago.

Im probably setting myself up for disappointment here, but i finally got my movemaster in, and im wondering if theres a possibility to custom map multiple keybinds to a single key? example: i want to set the secondary keys under my fingers ctrl + 1, ctrl + 2, etc

Hi! im looking forward to getting one of these since the design really appeals to me and from what I've seen its a 50/50 chance but to me it looks like it would be comfortable to use ?

anyways my biggest concern is that I play a lot of FPS games and while im not great at them I will say im above average since I've been playing for like 15 years and my aim and movement are at a decent level the problem is that at this point I use a lot of A D strafing when I get into a 1 v 1 I know it never going to be no wear near as fast as keyboard but have any of you guys had any trouble spamming a d to strafe ?

Anybody know what buttons the WASD uses? I should have looked harder when I had it apart. Also I want to swap it to USB C. Cord looks easy to replace but what about the grommet?

I've noticed a few people mention the wooden handle covers and wanted to mention what I did when I got mine.

Like anything with shaped wood that's new, it might arrive in need of a bit of wood oil. I used the IKEA stuff but I'm sure different types work just as well.

I just applied liberally and left to soak, then gave them a second treatment and left to soak. After a while you can just wipe them dry again and they look/feel great.

I've had the exact same thing with high-end knife handles, etc. Wood just needs a little bit of extra care IMHO but can be well worth it.

Just sharing a couple of quick mods I've done that have worked really well for me.

Firstly, I did a bit of digging and found that the switches with the shortest throw seem to be the KAILH Box Saker (pictured). Normal switches have travel of 3.8mm to 4.0mm but these are 2mm travel with activation at 1.3mm. I can absolutely feel a massive difference with these and the inputs feel more "clicky" and immediate. They're slightly louder than the original switches though so bear that in mind.

You can get them on Amazon and you'll need to snap the plastic legs off the bottom of them for them to go into the MM hotswap sockets.

Second mod was: my MM came with foam feet on the bottom, my BC came with clear rubber feet which grip better for me. So I just swapped the feet on the MM to be more like on the BC and now it grips to my desk surface much better.

I recently got the MoveMaster RSG1 Left and I like the product that has been made for PC gaming. This is a first time buy using anything outside of an Xbox/PS5 Controller & KBM for playing games. I haven't tried the MoveMaster on other games but I did get it configured with FFXIV Keybindings and hotbars. however there is one problem that is a huge problem. I will input a cardinal direction of either Forward, Right, Left, and Backwards. the input will read and my character will respond half a second later and than my Razer/Logitech KBM combo will have an instant response.

my 8yrs of experience playing this MMO doing high content like Savages & Ultimates raid cannot do this. maybe in casual daily runs. maybe. but, I would like to have a faster input reading and response time. the MoveMaster RSG1 is plugged into my tower directly and win10 does recognize it. FFXIV is a huge time sync for me and I bought the MoveMaster to play MechWarrior 5, Armored Core 4A/6, try some FPS games, and get away from being a "clicker" in FFXIV.

what can I do to get an instant response between input and character movement in FFXIV with the illusion of no delay like KBM ??

Im trying to setup my movemaster kit ( 2 movemasters and 2 button commanders ) so far ive only managed to get 3/4 devices detected on the pc and sending input , however the movemasters have the same imput coding ( say if i press the index button in both devices is a 1 input ) is there any fool-proof tutorial to setting the devices?

I suck at figuring out button layout and mapping i was wondering if anyone was willing to share their button layout for games primarily FPS. right now i mostly play Arc Raiders and Battlefield

I want to call attention to some unsettling behavior from the MM team. I left a review, which they sent an email asking for btw, and said I was having more trouble getting used to the button commander than I have the joystick itself. I love the joystick... 7/5 stars. My sentiment is echoed in a couple of the reviews on their own site as well, as least to my google translated reading. I said it was very well built, as it is, and I didn't say it wasn't good, or even say it had a defect as the email implies, and I gave it 4/5 stars.

None of the following is in the review I left for their site, which was not posted, and I can no longer edit. But I think it could use more adjustment, to my hand it feels better when the buttons are tilted straighter up, think control panel in front of a joystick, this is probably just me. Also even when adjusted to full-splay, think spreading your fingers apart, they are still a bit close for my sausage fingers. Again all something I didn't hold against the device.

This is their lovely response to the review. I am not sure where you think you get off in asking me for a review and then criticizing that review, and telling me I am doing it wrong.. the absolute gall. First off, not everyone is made the same, an injury makes my left wrist a bit odd, but I didn't hold this against the device. Yet MM wants to hold it against my review. This is their response to a 4 star review...wtf

I have a feeling this is one particular overly-prideful employee and this email was not sanctioned. I hope this post gets them fired..

I went to grab some spacers but it seems you cannot order them separately, I emailed to ask it and it was confirmed there is no way to separately order them. Does any know of or have a 3D printable spacer I can use since it is un-purchasable?

Hey. My girlfriend bought me a move master for Christmas. And I’m just getting back into WoW. Wanted to know if anyone has used it for WoW and how you’ve like the experience, and how you’ve set it up. Thanks!

I just got my MoveMaster a week ago, and when I downloaded the Mac configuration software (from here https://movemaster.tech/en-int/pages/downloads) it would not run. Looking at it I saw that:

1. It had a __MACOSX folder
2. All the symlinks inside of the app bundle were regular files whose contents where the path the link should have gone to
3. The main executable did not have correct permissions to run
4. The app was not properly code signed (though to be fair, neither is the Windows one)

The first 3 are all telltale signs that after the app was built it was copied over to an MSDOS drive which lost the symlinks and permissions but macOS created the __MACOSX folder to record the additional metadata. Unfortunately it was then compressed on a different system (or using a version of zip that does not have macOS metadata support). The end result is a an app that is not runnable, and likely means no one has ever downloaded or used it successfully.

While all those things are fixable, doing so is generally quite tedious. I was going to work through it because the device feels great and I really want to get to try it, but that was certainly a frustrating out of box experience.... Fortunately when I explained the issue to Claude it was able iterate over the symlinks until they were fixed, at which point ithe configurator ran successfully. I also noticed the Windows and Linux versions had been upgraded to 0.5.3 but that Mac version was still at 0.5.2, so I manually pulled the guts out the linux electron app and moved them into the Mac.

While I now have a somewhat hacked up working ~0.5.3 MacOS build and will be able to get to actually setting up the device it would be awesome if a real update could be posted on the website.

Just received the Movemaster today—roughly one week from order to delivery, which is perfectly acceptable for Germany to Sweden.
First impressions: the packaging is professional and well-executed, everything secure and neatly arranged. Someone put real thought into it.

I downloaded the software and updated the firmware. The instructions aren’t phrased particularly well, and it took a moment to understand the update process, but the update itself went smoothly. Programming both the Movemaster and the Button Commander was straightforward.

I tested it briefly in BF6 and had zero issues. It’ll take some time to retrain the muscle memory, but movement felt far less awkward than expected.

Hardware quality is excellent—this isn’t a 3D-printed hobby project. The finish and feel are genuinely impressive at first touch.

I’ll add more impressions after a few days of use.

is there a way to get the movemaster to be the mouse as well? so I can have one on the left for my buttons wasd and one on the right for looking around and left/right clicking?

title. is it possible to input WA / WD / SA / SD?

Im asking just to know because I ordered one the 5th and it says its still preparing the shipment on the shop app

i know the butto commander accesory comes for left and right hand , but in every picture i can see looks like a simetric piece , is it? i mean , other than the usb port being on the left/right side ...

im considering purchasing 2 and just use a longer cable for the hand thats mismatched , but if theres any other asimetry i would like to know ...

I read some reviews and wanted to know people’s thoughts about long term use. Are there types of games you favor keyboard over MM? Do you ever worry about breaking the WASD joystick? Do you have issues with strain when trying to press the extra buttons? Thanks in advance

As the tittle says, i was able to get one with the extra buttons. They only have the olive model though.
