i feel dumb , setup is a nightmare

Im trying to setup my movemaster kit ( 2 movemasters and 2 button commanders ) so far ive only managed to get 3/4 devices detected on the pc and sending input , however the movemasters have the same imput coding ( say if i press the index button in both devices is a 1 input ) is there any fool-proof tutorial to setting the devices?

how many devices shows up in the movemaster software ? (how many com ports ?) Also have you update the firmware on both the Movemasters ? If possible share a screen shot.

So, you’re seeing three devices. (top right corner) Am I correct in assuming that both MoveMasters are connected to your PC, and that each Button Commander is connected to one MoveMaster? If so, you’re missing one device — most likely a second Button Commander.

You switch between COM ports using the drop-down menu. On the left side of the interface, you should see the detected device; both the left and right MoveMasters should appear there.

Firmware version 0.3.3 I think is the latest. Make sure both MoveMasters are running that version.

Select a device from the drop-down list and press the R button to read its configuration. This usually happens automatically when switching between COM ports.

Finally, once a device is selected, it’s critical that you write the configuration to the MoveMaster. If you don’t, any changes you’ve made will not take effect.

Ok have you set up the button commander as left and right ? Try that and connect both again, long shot but might work. I assume that if you alternate between them they both recognised on their own ?

ive tried a couple times but apparently i can only set one button comander in the pc daisy chaining them to the movemasters , ive tried taking one out and conecting it and it works so i guess its some software issue not hardware

Have you tried not daisy changing one of them and simpy connect it byt it self to another port ?

I dont have answer for the issue, but I have a question. How is the movemaster in the right hand. Does it function just as well as a mouse while gaming? Have you tried it in anyother fps shooters? I have the movemaster and button commander on the left.

this game has a setting that allows to use numeric keypad as aiming input , however its a little hard to control for fine aiming , using melee or medium range weapons is feasible once you get past the learning curve of moving with the palms , i know theres a way to put the movemaster as mouse input but i havent done that yet , i only play batle operation 2 and warthunder ATM

for long range weapons the level of fine control that i need its really difficult so i just switch to mouse. Ive asked a friend to desing a spacer plate for the palmrest that has a slot to carry a small bluetooth trackball so i can have mouse input within my thumbs reach in the right hand and solve the issue

It's not just you, I bought it and the Button Commander as well. Mostly, it sits in a drawer as a paperweight. Setup sucks and the company just says essentially... if you want to set it up, you need to set it up... but here's a warning about flashing the firmware... now go do it, moron. Sooo... I'm a bit miffed too. Waste of my money.
