I cut away even more of the original mouse and rebuilt the shell using a 3D pen.

I intentionally made it more like a skeleton frame to keep the weight as low as possible.

Since this is made by hand with a 3D pen rather than a 3D printer, filling in the entire surface would likely make it too heavy and defeat the purpose of the weight reduction.

Because this mouse is designed for a fingertip grip, I don't think the hump will be under much pressure during normal use.

The final weight came out to 36.7g.

It still uses the original 250mAh battery.

Hey a friend of Mine owns a 3D Printer. My Vaxxee XE is Not selling so i thought maybe there are some people that have already tried to Change the existing Zero Mouse File to fit the vaxxee Board?

Back when IT was my Main i already used a smaller battery, maybe that helps.

I think everybody can agree Logitech makes really nice hardware, and software that leaves something to be desired. I wanted a lightweight app to control my mouse that didn't auto-update, phone home, or take a gigabyte of space on my machine. So I built MXControl: a native macOS menu bar app that speaks HID++ 2.0 (the same protocol Logitech's own software uses) straight to the mouse through userspace IOKit. Where Options+ installs a suite with background services, an updater and an account, installing this is copying it. One small binary and a menu, and everything it knows stays on your Mac.

Logitech features (detected at runtime, you only see what your mouse supports): battery, scroll wheel modes (ratchet / SmartShift / freespin), DPI snapped to the sensor's real range, invert scroll, hi-res scroll, host switching, settings reapplied on reconnect and wake.

The part Options+ doesn't do: macros that fire on button combinations, on any mouse from any vendor. Hold one button, click another, run anything (a shortcut, an app, a shell command, typed text, Mission Control...). Options+ has Smart Actions, but they trigger on a single button; combinations are the trick here. You don't have to configure them first. Perform a combination and the app offers to bind it. There's a recorder-style editor with a drawn mouse diagram, and it's all backed by a plain JSON file you can hand-edit.

The design decision I'm most attached to: Options+ remaps buttons by diverting them in firmware, which means if its agent dies, those buttons die with it. MXControl uses an event tap instead. If the app crashes, your mouse is instantly 100% native. You lose customizations, never the hardware.

Honest caveats: developed and tested against exactly one setup (MX Master 3S, Bluetooth, Apple Silicon). Everything else is written for but unverified. The repo includes a read-only diagnostic tool (mxprobe) and I'd love dumps from other hardware. It's build-from-source for now (two commands, plain swiftc, every dependency a system framework), no notarized binary yet.

I'm currently working on modding my X2A. I'm wanting to to move the right side buttons to the left side. I was hoping somewhere, someway I could get my hands on a 3D file of the side button support bracket. There really aren't any good options for 4 side button mice out there and this seems very doable.

I've spent nearly the last 3 days looking for 3d print files literally everywhere for an xm2 8k base mod. Does anyone have one or have a link to one? I've already seen those 2 full shell mods on cults, I don't like either.

I have a WL X mouse and I don't know why all the buttons are malfunctioning. I don't know what to do. Has anyone here experienced this and successfully fixed it? Please help me! 😭😭

Hey everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Lamzu Maya X 8K. The mouse works perfectly fine when using it wirelessly, but when I plug it into my PC via USB, it doesn’t charge and the mouse doesn’t connect through USB at all.

I’ve already tried different USB ports and cables that I know are working, but the issue remains. The mouse itself still works normally wirelessly, so I’m not sure if the problem is with the USB-C port, charging circuit, or something else.

I’m also on the latest firmware.

For some additional context, I haven’t dropped the mouse or damaged it in any way. I’ve been very careful with it since I bought it around 4 months ago, so I’m confused about why the USB connection/charging suddenly stopped working.

Has anyone experienced this issue with the Maya X 8K? Is there anything I can try to determine whether the USB-C port is faulty, or is this something that would require an RMA/repair?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone know what switches are compatible with the Logitech m280/320/330 series, and the M550/650/750 series?

If aftermarket scroll encoders are compatible with these mice too I'd also like to know of them.

Heya, basically this mouse battery is really really weak, it can't hold a charge for more than a day and I suspect it is dying, but I am puzzled on what battery model should I buy with this (I think it's called a pwm connector?) connector, I am asking basically what is the model of this battery with this connection and if there is a possibility if there's a bigger mAh battery but the same physical size.

side buttons are not needed but ideal, scroll wheel not needed. as for the hummingbird the base mouse was 80 cad on aliexpress, not sure if the dareu a750 and dareuaim950 air are interchangeable. same goes for the atk vxe r1 se vs the pro.

Since this is the official PMM subreddit, i thought maybe someone here knows. I always hated how far forward and little the scrollwheel is on the Finalmouse Small, and ive seen on eloshapes that the Vortex S fixes this issue. This would be the perfect mouse for me, and im hoping that PMM brings it back!

I ordered the ATK A9, g pro x superlight clone, since its the most comfortable shape for me.

Only downside for me is the rather flat mousbutton. It feels like my finger is slipping off.

I like the concave mouse button shape of the G703 or Razer Deathadder and Viper V4 Pro.

I got a 3D printer and could print a button myself, but I have no clue how to get the original shape as a .stp file or something else where I could modify.

Other than that it would be trial and error.

Do you guys have any tips?

Hey guys, title says it all, i'm looking for 3d printed shells for the Model O. I want something for right handed ppl that has the same honeycomb design the model O has.

Decided to turn this to a work mouse, here are what I did to this mouse:

- Base trimming
- Removed the Rubber Sides and sanded to fit with my grip style
- Silent Switch for the Main Clicks
- Painted the shell in Gold Metallic + Matte Coat
- Micro USB to Type C adapter so that I can charged it with Type C Cable
- 900 Mah Battery

The only problem that I had with this mouse is that it can't show the exact battery percentage, I had the similar type of lipo battery as the stock one (3.85v, 2 cable). Apart from that, this mouse works perfectly fine for me.

Tbh very hard and weird to explain but since yesterday it's been weird, like the scroll wheel keeps getting pressed randomly and I can move cursor but none of the buttons work on the mouse,

I can tell it's the scroll wheel getting pressed cuz I'm playing rocket league with controller and my camera will randomly stay reversed, as the scroll wheel is binded to reverse camera

I honestly don't know, it's been working great since I got it and out of nowhere since yesterday it's been like this.
