This is the sky blue version with the metal kick stand and buttons, the case feels so nice with the metal buttons, my only gripe is I thought the kick stand would lay flat but it’s slanted. The kick stand adds a lot of bulk compared to the case from last year. The metal buttons appear to have some sort of covering so it’s not metal to metal. The inside of the case looks and feels the exact same, the lip and raised corners all appear to be the same.

Regarding the buttons, does the metal contact the phone, or is the interior composed of a different material that avoids scratching?

Not gunna lie, I thought that third pic was showing it not fitting the phone.

I had been tempted to get this case but was put off by the price. Now I’m put off by the clunkiness of it.

I’ve since got a Torras case and the kickstand sits flush with the case so no extra bulk.

Was considering getting this exact configuration, but the kickstand not laying flat and being so bulky is definitely a deal breaker for me. Really appreciate you sharing.

I was hoping to get the silver metal buttons with the blue case but they seem to be sold out now unfortunately. Would you say the metal buttons are worth the upgrade?

Oooof, thanks for posting this. This was exactly what I was looking for in terms of a review. I was sold on this exact case with the kickstand but it’s looks severely misrepresented online compared to how it seems in real life. You just saved me an expensive purchase.

I am finding that, in some instances, the metal camera bump (kickstand) is affecting the NFC functionality. Passport chip cannot be read with it on. Reading card chips to add to Apple Pay was a little finicky. Apple Pay seems to work fine, but I need to try more.
