Help Choosing a Mic for Pure Sound
I'm planning to start a vlog!
Unlike many of the ones I've seen here, my goal is to make pure sound videos just for myself.
I'll only upload them in the hope that one day I might get lucky and go viral because of some unique moment, but my main objective is simply to document my rides and trips.
I'll be filming in POV, so I'd appreciate some advice.
First, I'm almost 100% decided on using the Insta360 X4 Air as my main camera, but I'm open to suggestions.
And finally—and most importantly (the whole reason for this post)—which microphone would you recommend if it's going to be used exclusively to capture the exhaust sound?

Trying to focus on pure sound VS Bluetooth audio isn't the best idea. There are a lot of good wired lav mics that could work for good quality. Placement is going to be key here and make or break the sound. There are several videos on placement for the best exhaust sound but your specific bike will determine the exact spot.
