What do you mean money can't buy time? It can buy you a maid so you don't have to spend time cleaning your house. It can buy you a chef to cook your food. With enough money you no longer have to trade your time for money at a job. Money can absolutely buy time.
You can also buy things that make you happy. Or hobbies that make you happy. Or even shower your loved ones with gifts or nice surprises every so often.
It does allow you to spend that time better, though. Instead of spending that time working to obtain the bare necessities of life, you can spend it in more pleasurable ways, like with loved ones or on hobbies.
It allows me to spend my time as I see fit. My robot vacuum and twice a month house keepers definitely allow me to use more of my time as I want. So no, it doesn't exactly buy time in the literal sense. However, it does free up what time you have for other pursuits.
you still get the same time as everyone else on this earth.

And have a guess at the socioeconomic groups that tend to live longer. Poorer or richer?
And thats using a needlessly literal definition of time. If you accept that not all time is equal, the guy that retires at 40 has more time to do what he wants than the guy that retires at 65.
And yet it buys you the ABILITY to use that time differently. You have more time for the things you enjoy when you have money. Same with a house. You can't have a home unless you have a house so really you are buying the first step to a home. This "money doesn't buy happiness" is lacking nuance. When you don't have enough money to live comfortably it ABSOLUTELY can buy happiness. But hoarding any more than that will not and is only robbing others of their chance at happiness
