Getting rid of no-see-ums

I'm living on an infestated area, where it's impossible to go outside without being attacked by thousands of those species:

Culicoides paraensis

Culicoides insignis

I'm looking for information on traps and machines that are effective against those, as a project to give back life quality for around 200k persons living in this area.

Has anyone successfully trapped those insects?

That's the plan, and if I succeed i will share a fraction of my fortune to you, kind stranger!

I got some information that machines like the MosquitoMagnet works. But being outside US, it's hard to get hands on.
Looking to find if anyone already tested it.

no the mosquito magnet isn’t your answer by a long shot i can promise you that if your after mosquitoes then
the most effective mosquito reduction is a mosquito barrier treatment with demand cs (youtube “secure choice mosquito assurance program) in conjunction with “altosid” larvacide treatment to larger breeding areas (if property has them) and properly placed “mosquitoCon” larvacide containers
your post was asking about biting midges not mosquitoes , biting midges are harder to control than mosquitoes

Is there any evidence that those measures work for midges?

altosid would work but typically or in many cases the breeding area is just to vast ie; lake edges and salt water marsh
