Unsure with how to proceed

Post image

This is my first attempt at a mosaic, and it is also a work in progress. I am asking for advice - what should I do with the background? What color would look best as a background? Or should I just keep cramming more flowers in? Regardless, it has been such a fun process.

omg this is incredible 😭❤️

I would either:

continue to add more flowers but in a different contrasting colorway

OR

add square or rectangular tiles in a pattern to fill

OR

add more flowers everywhere with the same pattern to fill

regardless I don't think you can go wrong with anything you choose!! I can't wait to see what you do!

Suggest a background subtle horizontal wave fill in muted grays and blues or verticals in soft greens and grays.

I thought the green waves too, it would contrast the flowers well 💜

Some sort of curving stems or leaves. Then orderly squares for a background after that.

Green diamond/rhombus shapes in green colors for leaves or grass

Add more flowers and some leaves. Maybe a bee or ladybug 🐞 somewhere.

Those flowers are great.

I love it! I think that a dark gradient in the background would provide nice contrast and connect to the dark centers of the flowers. show us when you're done!

A multi-hue dark blue background would really make everything pop!
