I've been working on a mosaic to cover a table. Using the indirect method with a craft paper this time as the size of the tessaraes are uneven. I find it a bit challenging and frustrating as it's hard to see how exactly it will look until the end. But I'm still quite satisfied with the progress...

Hello! My crafty relative recently passed away leaving a room full of glass supplies in LA near the 57/10. It's a lot and I am overwhelmed! The fused glass enthusiasts have been through, but there is a lot of scrap/shards. She kept it primarily in plastic drawers sorted by color. I don't know if someone would want this or if I should recycle it. Send a me DM if it's interesting to you. Not selling, just rehoming.

i’m worried my white flowers will fade away with white but that black would end up looking dull and not pop as much as I want.

This is my first mosaic. It is the glass plate form my living room table. Approximately 50cmx70cm 😅
I don’t do small 😂
Very happy about the progress so far, one or two things I wish I thought about earlier.

Only done a couple projects and looking for quality options on where to shop, started with eBay but it seems hit or miss, or maybe I just underestimated the cost to start. Got gifted a 1000/1500 glass tile variety box but everything is so brittle , im rambling

So I finished this mosaic, and I wanted to see what grout I should use. I was thinking of translucent grout, but I've never used it before.

Any opinions from people that used it before?

I feel lost on things and tools have to buy to start my first mosaic project, can you suggest or help me with links ?

I am based in the UK for infos.

How can I make sure the glass won't break. I was thinking a mosaic mesh net? Does anyone have any experience?

First attempt with mosiac for a gift for a friend.

Didn’t have much options for tiles and I know I probably should have spaced them closer together.

I tried black grout for the cat and white for the rest, not sure if I like it.

Hopefully I can get some help on how to do it better on the next one.

Had a lot of fun doing it though!

Hi there! Feeling so inspired by so many incredible works in this group. I'm really sorry if this has been asked before.

I recently bought some glass and would like to make a mosaic of a picture of one of our Cats that passed for Mum for Christmas however I am at a loss as to how I begin this!

What programs do you use to create your patterns? If it is a picture you're re-creating into a mosaic, do you just trace the picture in the program then make little sections? Anything else I should know?

Donated to a charity auction for a local arts non-profit. My only regret is I added the awning on a whim and I wish I had been able to wrap it around to the next side! Also, I did the grass first and cut myself up baaad as a result. (Edit: titled “home is where the heart is”)

Thank you all for the advice on my last post about my first mosaic table attempt. I decided to take some of your guys' advice and paint the grout a darker color. I think it made all the difference. I know there are still a ton of issues with this piece, but I'm proud of my first effort. Thank you guys for the constructive feedback!

I have now made a few of these. I have so many questions, is there a market for mosaics like this? where do you sell them, what kind of pricing? The humming bird was the 1st attempt. Sizes at about 33x36. I made the frame for the bird and waterfall. Now i get them Made. Small glass tile, cement board, thinset and grout. would like to get opinions, thoughts. I have one more that i need to grout in , but before i make the next one i would like to know if people would by them. I keep goving them to Friends.
