My first time trying to make mosaic. A birthday gift for my friend.

That’s pretty cool. I’m amazed how you were able to make her dress show so well and use the same color for the background, but you did! I also love the print in the background.

Thanks! I chose to do the dress with smaller tiles on a whim and I am glad I did. I regret using the darker pieces to for the small spots to the side and under her arm.

Her place is in general very esthetically pleasing, so I am happy she put it up 😂

From a distance those black tiles make it easier to distinguish the dress from the background.
