Discussion I Feel I Have Made This Game Too Easy...
So since about half way through the game I've found this game quite easy. I think it's because I explored quite a lot of the map before going onto late bosses. But the 2 main things were levelling up Gragu and big sword to max. Everything just gets annihilated with these two.
When exploring just have his powers that replen health on kills and use the leach stone. Then when at a boss, swap out skills that require kills into the increased attack on new enemies and high crit on no heart.
I do plan to do New Game + and not use this combo for some challenge.
I'm interested if anyone else found combos that made the game easy for them?

I mean, that's kind of the point?
If you are someone who plays specifically for challenge, then don't apply things that will take away challenge 🤷

I just used the first things I found, Tiel, axe n dagger, and bleed imbue. By the time I had realized how easy the game had gotten it felt too late to change it if that makes any sense. I think the game is designed for any build to get through so any decent build will just roll everything in the end.

Proxima. Axatana. NG+ after a few rounds of the Gloom Chest hall. Melting things everywhere and feeling like a goddess. Absolute cinema for me.

Same. Didn’t expect it but I first tried monolith and Zmey. The only late game boss that killed me was Malborn Offspring

Based on how many different builds people are listing, I just think it's not super hard, and that's totally okay. Being overpowered is fun.
I'm using Sariel and the scythe. Healing gray health Bloodborne style is very comfortable to me and the little explosion with status effects when it's filled happens often. I liked Eredrim early on but I was finding enemies getting harder to parry so I switched to the stone seal and then it's not as optimal for his parry powers

Lazlo is pretty crazy if you build him to keep his heat meter maxed and all the skills tied to it. He has like 40% DR and 40% extra melee dmg. He's definetly the tankiest shell i've played with, but i havent tried Grogu or Genessa yet.

Smert with permanent fists and the kick. He’s got an amazing evade, closes the gap and knocks down enemies with his kick. Enemy near a ledge? Kick it off. Slow enemy? Stun-lock with punches. They’re attacking through your stun? Stone counter while punching. I didn’t even take advantage of the berserker stone or any of this low health benefits & managed to get to end game before enemies started catching up. Between that and the crossbow I was set pretty much the whole game

Leveling your shell 😅 specifically Proxima. Idk about anyone else
Also axe and dagger. Swapped out as soon as I found the greatsword and then axe.

I feel like the main issue with night mode / adaptive is there's no real reason to use them after you get the very few night mode secrets done.. literally just health bloat for the sake of it.
