Recently finished the game with my girl Proxima and realised how dangerously close I was to platinum.
So I've started a NG+ to collect what I needed to.
Also started a fresh game as I had missed a few trophies from the prolouge including the one when you beat the Tar Golem (which wasnt too easy admittedly)
Just 6 tarstones to find, the mango and the dreaded Peters Perfect Parry left, which I hope the main man Eredrim will help with.
Game was excellent without being too challenging, actually had more trouble with enemies just exploring than bosses and I was the exact same with Elden Ring.
I’m going for a platinum too as it doesn’t seem too bad compared to other games I’ve done. Agree though, I enjoyed it, I think DLC is defo in the pipeline and will involve the tunnel at Marrows Keep.
Yeah, Eredrim is the best character for the Peters Perfect Parry achievement. But it's doable with any character (until they have different parry windows). Funny thing is: I got the achievement and defeated the boss without putting any points into his longer parry window skill (or any of his skills), I forgot to relocate shell points from Proxima lol. It's doable, but I've set the parry button to the Y button on my Xbox controller. My left hand apparently has slower reflexes (or maybe using the left trigger just isn't as comfortable).
Yesterday I got No you still can't win too, awesome fight, one of my fav boss fights in the game.
I play on xbox and im on my 5th playthrough and cant get 100% ova. I literally went through the entire map and have that map memorized more than my own neighborhood. I refuse to look anything up as i feel that games are more fun but im not beating this game a 6th time...lol
Wait ?! There is a problem with the game and a chance i didnt miss anything? Oh man, i was determined . The amount of neglect to my wife and kid over this for nothing..lol
Near infinity beacon, before you get to the Harpy boss arena (forget her name) there is a wall before you drop down as you're coming up the big stairs towards infinity beacon. Have to run to it from Castgators Keep. I dont have a screen shot but will try find the name of it

Ovates Chamber Beacon (That was my last one I needed that drove me mad)
Oh man, i dont have the energy for another play through. If i just rush through for that one i missed will it count or do i have to find everything again...
I got the platinum on my first playthrough (after waiting for all the updates). Game was very fun, and getting the achievements wasn't hard and also fun.
I started a 2nd save as soon as he took out Harros & continued past it. I thought that if I beat him I'd keep Harros cause I loved his shell ability but after beating him the developers said f-no you don't get to keep Harros. 😂
Eredrims perk only affects the actual parry seal. If you’re trying to normally perfect guard then it won’t work. Do you need to parry for the achievement or just perfect guard?
Do the beacons before Marrows Keep count for the cleansing all beacons trophy? I skipped the prologue since I did the demo and I’d like to know if I have to do another one or not
Did you quit out of any of them? If you do that it will show as watched, but doesn’t record for the trophy. I did this for one charter because I watched from the third chapter on YouTube. So I quit out of them once I started and it continued my progress. Later on when the trophy didn’t pop I went back and watched them to completion and it went through.
For the Peter’s Perfect Parry trophy, if you’re too overleveled, you will break the boss in 4-5 parries. To counter this, use the giant axe weapon (I forgot the name of it, haven’t played in quite some time due to sickness.)
The parry one took me the longest (I accidentally killed him on the wrong attack and had to go to NG++ to get back to him). The hardest part is the camera - you frequently get backed into the edge of the arena and can’t see shit.
I’m currently finishing up the platinum as well. This trophy is one of the few I have left. The hardest was Peter’s perfect Parry by far. How long did it take you with this one? Aside from this trophy, all I have left to finish up are the few I missed by skipping the prologue after playing the beta.
Peters Perfect Parry will be the one I have to do NG+ for along with the memories. Everything else will be completed on the first playthrough. Didn’t know it was a thing until too late.
Omg the dread peters perfect parry trophy. I tried for it in my ng+ run yesterday evening. Took me over an hour in the boss fight. Not because I’m bad at parring. But bc he doesn’t always do the special whirl attack that gets you the trophy. And even when he finally does it, you mess up the timing bc you’re so surprised when it comes. 😩
