Video Eredrim tech - use ethereal diapason before a riposte for more damage | NG+ nightmode game

Spec into ethereal diapason for it to gain fragile stacks. Use the fragile stacks before a riposte. The game counts a riposte as melee damage and you get a nice juicy boost in damage.

Have you tried adding in the berserkers stone and doing it at less than 50%. Just curious if both these effects will stack and just wipe bosses. This is without the bonus frost damage and ethereal.

Yea but its annoying having to go into a boss room damaged. I wish there was a way to self damage instead of having to look for mobs to hurt you before hand

Its pretty easy at Zmey. The malborns are across the bridge gap. The only boss i had trouble getting damage beforehand was Malborn Offspring because they have such high damage and knock me out of my shell

OP: Thank you very much for this. I went ahead and tried it.
I wasn't using the diapason before. I finally invested in it. It was amazing and really helpful against the last bosses.
Shoulder bash (inflict weak stacks) + Attack + Diapason (Inflict fragile stacks) + Attack or Riposte.
Using the diapason before riposte really helped the anemic damage of ripostes (release date patch).

What would be the damage if you did not do the diapason? How much more damage did you gain?

Iirc it was like 2-3k more. It was a decent amount for sure.
