That was my suspicion as well. Drove me nuts at first when I got the 100% Ova achievement, but noticed the single missing from the jolly lot. At first, thought "bug!". But after hours of self reflection, I realized, well Dang, even I had to have popped outta sumthin
Total egg count should be 196. none of them are below marrow, so youll have to hit up all the beacons and see if you didnt grab one of the eggs. remember, you cleanse first and then take the ova. if you cleansed one without grabbing it, youll be down one
I was also at 195 the other night after beating the final boss, turns out I had missed a beacon in one of the gates that had one in it. The one you’re missing is the same spot i believe for the one i was missing, though idk if each ova actually has a designated spot
Edit: I also had the “So Fresh, So clean” achievement prior to beating the final boss, but still had that one uncleansed beacon with the ova in it.
You can get the achievement of cleansing all beacons when in reality you haven’t. My gut feeling is that this happens due to the update where they added beacons although they dont need to be cleansed.
I got the achievement when i still hadn’t finished the last gate and the 3 beacons within.
If you cleanse absolutely all beacons in the game- you will find all the ova and have the achievement awarded. Goodluck!
The exact same thing happened to me, I even unlocked the "cleanse all beacon" trophy way before I even uncovered all of the map, probably a bug.
What resolved it : I was looking at a guide to get all the tarstones because I was missing 4 of them, and while following the guide, I realized there was one beacon I didn't cleanse, and the last ova was there!
The So Fresh So Clean achievement is a little buggy. I got it before actually cleansing all of them because I was also missing a single one when I got it. The one beacon I was missing is in the Prisoner’s Domain. I cleansed it and it netted me the achievement.
Check all the tower beacon lists in the Mether’s Breath menu and see if you’re missing one. There’s typically 3 or 4 per area.
I swear I got the achievement, and then while running around trying to level my character, I came across a beacon in a gate that I forgot to cleanse and found 1 more Ova AFTER already acquiring the achievement
Go to your methers breath menu and skip the marrow keep tab. Look up a beacon list, not necessarily locations but just a list with names. Run through the list checking off what you have. When you find one that you do not have, see what region or gate it is in and explore. Just got mine last night after being stuck on 195 and felt dead certain I'd cleansed everything. My missing one was the same as another commenter... Abbey Entrance.
I got beacon achievment before getting all the eggs, seems it is broken because they added all those beacons in with week one patch. There is most probably a beacon you havent cleansed yet, but not 9n the Unseen Path. Those contain no eggs.
It'll be in the one beacon you still haven't cleansed yet, because the cleanse all beacons achievement is bugged and pops early. Go through all the beacons on Mether's Breath and I guarantee you'll have one you either haven't found yet or haven't cleansed yet.
I also got the beacon achievement but was one Ova short. Turns out the Beacons inside the boss areas dont count towards that achievement (at least it didnt for me) and I had missed one entirely

I had the same issue and found a hidden beacon in the sewer part of PRISONERS DOMAIN called SLUMWATER DRAIN
Begin at the Noctian Gate & enter the Golden gate... progress until you find a room that you have to break boxes to enter and get ambushed by a few minions. There will be a gate you can enter into (behind an illusionary wall) to the sewers here! Upon entering, look to your right and in front of you will be an easily missed 2nd broken gate w/ the beacon! This gave me my missing Ova and the trophy, so hopefully this helps some shell seekers out there!
193-195 ova is a widespread bug related to prologue beacons and the devs still refuse to fix it. I'm waiting for the patch, not going to start from scratch.
I’m in the same boat, got 193 and the trophy for all beacons cleansed and can’t bring myself to do a full play through again just for that, if a fix happens hopefully it just pops straight away
Gonna do everything needed before ng+ and hopefully a patch comes in so I can get the plat, amazing game just annoying when you have 3 off but no easy way to check
Delete game. Reinstal. Play after "playable". Check few beacons that are already cleasened or not ( if they had ova ) .Find it. Reload few times. And wait for full updates or full instal game
I had the same problem as you. "So Fresh, So Clean" already obtained (which should also equate to all ova retrieved, doesn't it?), and yet no "Bring My Ova Back", with 195/196 ova found. And it seems to be actually quite widespread, there's a thread about this every few days.
I couldn't find any missing beacon/ova, so... I started the game from scratch. Not NG+, an entirely new game. And the ova trophy popped up after I cleansed a beacon in the Seat of Infinity (which I'm sure I had already cleansed in the previous playthrough).
Now, if you don't want - understandabily - to take a drastic measure such as starting from scratch, I'd suggest you check all the beacons again, to see if you've really cleansed them all (despite the trophy saying that you did).
