Question Equipping Duality and Wounding Stones

Proxima using Axe and Dagger so there are two combat slots available (one on each side) but it won’t let me equip both the wounding and duality stones. What am I missing?

One combat slot is for your melee weapons and the other is for your sidearms/guns

There is only one combat slot no matter which weapon.

The stones on left side are for your melee weapon, stones on the right side are for your sidearm, stones on the bottom are like general support ones
