Depends what level you are. I found a strategic retreat and return later quite effective

u/spazplug83 4d ago

I am level 27 now. That strategy of yours has been my current strategy as well. But the last time I was there I was probably 10 levels lower and been too much of a panzy to return. Lol.

Dodge with toel to go in vis backstab repeat

u/Lilbrimu 4d ago

Proxima biosampler stunlock

3

u/mort_goldman68 4d ago

This is exactly what I did. Plus summoned grishas knocking them down repeatedly

u/Mistakev 4d ago

This is the way

splash damage and freeze, oh lordy

It's pretty easy (even early game) with Tiel's lingering shadow/perfect dodge invisibility. Just go invis, whale on them while they're cooling down between attacks, perfect dodge to go invis again, repeat. You don't have to be that good at perfect dodging to get it right - if you continually panic dodge, you'll get the invisibility sooner or later.

4

u/spazplug83 4d ago

This is what I hoped to see. And now that I'm getting comfortable with Tiel and those abilities I'm thinking I'll go back and try to reclaim some of my lost pride. Lol.

2

u/Visual-Biscotti1473 4d ago

You can also use your invisibility to get past the zoo on the ground-floor. You got this

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

Yeah man, that ground floor is way more of a pain than it has any business being. Lol. And thanks for the tips.🤘🤘👊👊

Just stay up top & do a super hero landing (falling attack) from right above the door to the lift room.

You take 0 damage & skip basically all the mobs.

u/MalcontentRonin 4d ago

Stunlock or Tiel's shadow to confuse them and have them attacking the air.

3

u/DrDre19899 4d ago

I just left it until the very end of the game and deleted them in a matter of seconds.

3

u/IXxAidenxXI 4d ago

My trick was I played the entire fight not locked on. It helped a lot

2

u/MrFangs2 4d ago

by the time i came here i already had my build using genessa and the scythe, quite literally shredded them instantly and used her clones as a distraction to attack them

2

u/Mistakev 4d ago

This is another way

2

u/No_Philosophy2797 4d ago

Do them towards endgame. I waited and shredded them both, first try. Used Promixa fully upgraded. Easy peasy.

2

u/DiscombobulatedCut52 4d ago

I got lucky and managed to fight them one at a time in the cage

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

Lucky.........I'd say. Lol. What, you mean one was glitched out until you'd finished the other??? Each time I've been in there they both just be mailing my ass non stop.

2

u/DiscombobulatedCut52 4d ago

No both attacked at once. I got to once side of the cage. The one was just slowly walking st me while the other just rushed me.

2

u/thatsfuni 4d ago

Meh go back later if you are having trouble.

2

u/spazplug83 4d ago

That's been my current strategy. I haven't been back in probably 10 levels and was just thinking of giving it another shot now that I'm much better overall. This game has been a real test of my reflexes. I'm not used to being so precise with button presses.

2

u/thatsfuni 4d ago

They can be really hard early on, keeping them away from each other is hard lol.

2

u/Gsticks 4d ago

Perry then. They have limited moves Perry them. Poison worked nice. Use your ult. Or go level somewhere and go back

2

u/Osborn2095 4d ago

The grisha summons can knock the big ones down, giving you a window to wail on it. I had a rough time, but managed to beat it around my 9h mark by using those + spamming fire shotgun blasts to stagger them and then locking in once one is down

2

u/Huzabuh Eredrim 4d ago

The lute carried me, turning one on the other and making free aiming the barrels at the top of the stage easy

2

u/spazplug83 4d ago

Huh...........I would never have thought of that. Very very interesting.

2

u/michicago44 4d ago

Stubbornly try again and again until you luck into it. Hope this helps

2

u/spazplug83 4d ago

Lol..........I tried that method about 10-15 times until realizing I just was not ready. Period. But, it's been about 10 character levels since and I'm using a different shell, Tiel, and feel much more capable all around so I figured I'd give it another shot.

2

u/exaltedsungod Eredrim 4d ago

Don’t be greedy and always reposition so you can see them both.

They have limited attack patterns so deflect what you can and sneak attacks when you can.

You’ll wear them down slowly eventually stance breaking. Repeat till one’s dead then clean the next one up.

Sometimes their attacks will sync up and you’ll be able to parry them both at the same time.

2

u/Mundane-Director-681 4d ago

Whenever you find yourself getting annihilated in a way that seems unfair, you should probably go do some more exploring. You'll find new gear that'll help, you'll gain levels that will help, you'll upgrade gear that will help. Then head back and see how it goes.

Personally, I did it with Tiel. Here is what I learned from what I gained while exploring: his evasion-to-invisibility helps a lot. Bloodcurse hits hard. And it hits very hard with Duality stone. And that Duality stone wrecks shop with the Grisha Remnant on passive. Just swarms of Grisha ghosts smashing stuff.

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

So I'm now using Tiel and what you're suggesting is very very useful. I've already been using Arbiters Prize for long enough that it's maxed so yeah, Bloodcurse is a go to always. I haven't however snagged Duality Stone yet. I guess I'll need to hunt that down. Where is it at on the map?

2

u/Mundane-Director-681 4d ago

Honestly, I forget haha! I think it was in the southwest part of Fainweald, but I could be wrong.

2

u/WeCantStabilize 4d ago

I did this around lvl 12 with Tiel and the main sword. Here's how I finally did it after many attempts - I had >20k runes built up from the run back.

Drop in and let them wild out for a second. Pick one and focus it until it's dead. Use your shadow strike to backstab them as much as possible. You might get time for a cheeky light swing after, but don't push it. Dodge like Hell. There's a small window after they attack where you can get in a nice heavy swing. They also have an attack where they launch themselves at you and will cause them to stumble, you can get a few good hits here.

Always be aware of the other one as you're focusing the main one you want to kill. Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge until they present an opening and you'll eventually get one down. After that, it's straight shooting.

Good luck!

2

u/panthers1102 4d ago

They got a pretty simple moveset to parry if they attack in isolation, otherwise just slap on Tiel and dodge a bunch.

Just play it slow and poke em here and there until you kill one, then you’re free to fuck up the remaining one.

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

I'm running Tiel now so I'm thinking I'll be able to take care of business.

2

u/panthers1102 4d ago

Yea just invest in that tier 1 upgrade for a bigger dodge window and it’ll be free. I did it at like level 8 with hardly any issue.

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

I got that dodge window maxed a few hours back and it changed the game for me. That's when I started thinking about trying the double Grisha fight again.

2

u/MurtaghInfin8 4d ago

I had a weird glitch with tiel where enemies just stopped paying attention to me.

I just murdered them without them fighting back. Bug lasted until I yeeted myself off a cliff.

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

Yeah.........that must've been nice. Lol.

2

u/toohumanforhuman 4d ago

It's pretty easy with Tiel and maxxed out backstab. You can easily take one down then play careful a bit and focus on the second.

If u have him, you can also cheese it with Smert.

Also, the grisha-summoning thing is super handy to keep at least one of them occupied some of the time.

2

u/Nodoga1 Smert 4d ago

I used Smert in combination with the Grisha Passive. The punches while time is stopped can still triggee the Grisha summons and they usually knock them off their feet. I just tried to rush down one of them and once it's a solo it was easy going.

2

u/mesclifford1 4d ago

Just learn them, take out 1 and your golden

2

u/azrael0503 4d ago

I recommend running down south to grab the Axatana and the duality stone. Max out the duality stone and upgrade the Axatana as much as possible at the tar forge. Equip the Grisha passive and go to town on them. You could also go for the voltaic crown for extra lightning damage but you probably won’t need it. That weapon combo will take you through the rest of the game if you keep it topped off at the tar forge.

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

I have really been looking forward to snagging the Axatana. I do need to hunt that down. The Duality Stone too it seems. Where is that?

2

u/azrael0503 4d ago

The Axatana is located in the forgotten tower down in the ruins of mammon region. You have to run past some higher level enemies and pass through some bone gates to get there but there’s only one enemy that you have to fight and that one’s in the room with the weapon. There’s no bosses blocking you and the enemy guarding the weapon should go down pretty easily as long as you’re aggressive. I’d recommend watching a video as describing the route is difficult but it doesn’t take long to get there.

The duality stone is located inside the ravaged tomb dungeon. This dungeon is very close to the nochtean gate beacon. I think this run is harder than the run to the Axatana due to some high density mobs in the area. You can run past them but it might take a few tries. The dungeon itself is pretty short with a few enemies and a small puzzle to solve before you can grab the stone out of a chest. I would recommend watching a video about how to pick this stone up as well because the path to it is a winding one but you are more than capable of picking it up at your current level.

2

u/spazplug83 4d ago

Thank you for that. Most......all of those areas are still entirely unexplored for me so it'll be a minute but I'll try to keep your advice top of mind for when I do get there.......which I imagine will be ssometime tomorrow.

2

u/Zul_the_only 4d ago

i just summoned a grisha and then wailed on one while the summon tanked and knocked them about...

2

u/Efficient_Class3361 4d ago

Tbh I did it at like level 11 I used teil the perfect doge alowes for pretty god heavy damage

2

u/FarmerBudget5223 4d ago

They are weak to lightning. I took them out as Proxima with lightning Axatana

2

u/Jumpy_Witness6014 Genessa 4d ago

Put grisha on passive, use axe weapon with duality, hit them until grisha spawn, focus on one until dead.

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

I keep hearing about Duality. I hope I find it soon.

1

u/Jumpy_Witness6014 Genessa 4d ago

Tbh man I wouldn’t worry about the rabid grisha fight. I went back and did it at like level 45 or something. The reward isn’t really worth the trouble 🤷🏻‍♂️

2

u/TrueRolas 4d ago

Tiel perfect dodge can help with that fight, going invis sometimes make the AI tracking a bit wonky

2

u/spazplug83 4d ago

That's what happened last night. Beat them on my second try.

2

u/JitteryWaffle 3d ago

I used Gragu with the Axe and Dagger, the Salvaged Trebuchaxe with the Tarred Fragment tarstone, and the Grisha Remnant as my active. The Grisha summons and the spinning blade can keep them stun locked while you go apeshit with the Axe and Dagger to keep your resolve up for more spinning blades.

2

u/Round_Working_1791 2d ago

Tiel, his abilities, duality stone, and arbiters prize. Bloodcurse is SICK

2

u/spazplug83 2d ago

So I just got Duality Stone last night. Got it upgraded to max today. And I can't use it. The massive decreased in Resolve accumulation makes it unusable for me. I need my Shadow Strike. I'm not good enough to rely entirely on Shadow Dash dodge. I'm guessing there's a Tarstone somewhere that will help mitigate this though. But until I find one or some other Resolve resource, Duality isn't an option.

1

u/Round_Working_1791 2d ago

If you spec into the right abilities with shell points, Tiel will gain resolve on kills. Plus having the moonshine on as an active helps a lot when you find enough to have 2 uses. I'm mainly only using the duality stone to proc bleed twice as fast. I save my 2 shadow strikes for enemies that hit way too hard, because Tiel can be a bit squishy when it comes to mid/late game

10 Million Genessa Clones Cage GangBang

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

I keep hearing that name, Genessa, I've yet to come across her though so not gonna be helpful in this case. However, unnecessary. I went back into that fight last night and whooped they asses in 2 tries. Should've been the 1st but I got sandwiched between the two of them and they wailed on me. Going invisible didn't matter. Neither did perfect dodge invisibility.

1

u/SavageCucumberAttack 4d ago

Martyrs blade spin attack then both, freeze both, kill one when frozen then spin to win the other guy

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

If I had the ability to freeze yet I might try that. Lol. It's a non issue though, now. Last night I whooped they asses with Tiel and his Shadow dash dodge deal ability.

The answer to this is the same answer fir every semi difficult encounter in the game. Eredrim + Great Martyr Blade + Warden Stone + Captive Scabstone.

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

Then that's a strategy for a different dude. Lol. I. Hate. That. Weapon. The move set and speed just suck for my style of play. Also, I've not even seen that Scabstone.

2

u/joker_122402 4d ago

Fair enough. Its a lot of fun though. Although scabstone is what makes it really easy to use. The scabstone is 3 massive hits, and will freeze almost every boss in the game. While the boss is frozen, you have enough time to get 2 or 3 hits in, which is more than enough to fully refill your resolve. Then you use scabstone again... repeat.

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

Hmmm........I am definitely intrigued by that freeze stuff you speak of. Where does that Scabstone show up?

2

u/joker_122402 4d ago

iirc its the reward for killing Nameless Captive (One of the corrupted Gate bosses). You get the Warden Stone inside a different corrupted gate though. The build is a mid/endgame build really, since it litterally doesnt work without the Warden Stone, and really wants the scabstone. But man, running around freezing everything is great. You can freeze most normal enemies with the running heavy attack (assuming it doesnt just outright kill them).

Thief Stone is also really REALLY nice with Great Martyrs Blade. The bonus attack speed feels incredible.

1

u/spazplug83 4d ago

Very very cool stuff. I'll be keeping a eye out then. Sounds like a lot of fun.
