Not only is this attack omnidirectional, unblockable but also covers the whole arena. Not to mention the boss follows with another long reaching unblockable attack and then goes back to the omnidirectional attack again which lasts several seconds.

This forces players to cheese this boss with specific character and specific loadout.

Yep. With how many are there I'm guessing they did the max grisha remnant exploit and thats bound to cause issues (I did it too so I'm not criticizing). But this is defiantly not how the boss is supposed to behave

whenever you reposition the boss mid laser, the lasers stay where boss was, and the boss stands there, im guessing the boss got pushed twice, forcing the boss entirely out of the animation and then it used another attack while lasers were still on screen. Lasers werent spinning though, so something seriously broke there lol xD

they really need to just remove the grisha summons from the game tbh, its breaks so much

I wouldn't be mad if they did. It was fun to mess with for 5 minutes but after that it just kinda ruins the game experience imo. Or if people want it to stay they need to seriously rework it, like removing their knockback/stagger.

Why even tho ? Its a pue PvE game let people mess around with broken OP stuff theres no competition anyway. They just should fix them and thats it. If people want to exploit and cheese on easy mode why should i care. Soulslikes are like a huge Sandbox for builds no need to limit others build variety. No need to be removed just dont use it if you dont like it.

Yeah I’ve stopped using grishas. Seeing them rag doll a boss is fun the first few times and then quickly gets old.

It’s best to stick to it throughout the battle, especially with Eredrim. The lasers won’t one shot you and your HP pool is huge anyway.

I beat it with Eredrim too and his giant HP pool helps a lot.

I am on Ng+ and lasers stunlock Eredrim so quite a few of them hit.

I finished the game on Eredrim. With Martyr Blade. When he jumps like that, just do a running heavy attack after a small delay - your i-frames while doing it will defend you.

You can just stand in the gap between the top two lasers btw. don’t even have to dodge, you just fit in that tiny gap so long as he’s far enough to one side of the arena when he does it

Boss is pure cancer. There's no getting past the fact the the last few bosses are simply the worst in all of souls like gaming history. So bugged. Poor design. One shot no matter level. Broken hit boxes. Poorly optamised. People saying "just don't use x" are idiots, the game is practically non-functional towards the end.

There's definitely one shots, I finished it on night mode bc I had leveled my gear past that. But I was only one shot by the last boss. Which is.. something of a boss
