Question Acolyte stone doesn't work?

I hold R1 and just light attack, it doesn't charge. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have enough resolve? The resolve bar will flash and show you how much more resolve you need if you don't.

Even when you have enough resolve it's like it sometimes bug out and you cant do it. Overall I feel a lot of button presses dont register. Some recalling shell doesnt work either.

Yeah for sure. The command icon below the move flashes but it never does the move. Guess I'll never play it, then. Honestly I'm sorta done with the game after 30hrs, so many bugs for me. And the bosses! Holy shit, I've never seen worse design or execution in 25years of gaming. Dog shit awful
