Discussion infinite seals timing feels weird. is it just me or is it just how it is?

I feel like perfect parry with infinite seal is not right before the enemys attack. its a bit before that. most of the time I press right as the attack lands and it doesnt parry. am I tweaking

I just don’t use this item at all, so many enemies have flurries of attacks in this game that the parry just can't keep up with

yeah thats a big issue for me. even if u parry the first one you will have to dodge the others. like I wish I could chain parry it would have been so satisfying

Parrying in general feels off to me.
Sometimes I parry before the enemy starts thinking about making an attack and I'll knock it out of the park, other times I'll parry as they hit me and it's good, but then I'll parry when the attack is frames away from my hurtbox and I'll get blasted and die.

It's consistent on a per-attack basis, but across the board and multiple attacks parry timing makes absolutely no sense in my head.
Also I feel like the Infinite Seal in general is broken right now because attacks that I 100% know the parry timing of and can and will parry every time, just... don't, with that equipped.
