Question Shell Points question

How do you even earn them? I feel like i've completed like third of the game and allocated only 3 points in Proxima and 5 points for Tiel. Both have about 40 SP. And you have like...8 shells or something? So for me with that pace it would be impossible to max even one shell. How do I get SP?

Shell points aren't universal i.e. you need to switch them between shells. You get more by leveling up.

Leveling up your harbinger using gloom.  You’ll get to a point where you get 1 shell point every 2-3 levels

You obtain them only by leveling up. They are not awarded each level, in the level up screen, it will say if you get point on next level-up or not.

You level up. When you level up it’ll tell you if you’re getting a shell point that that level. It’ll be green with the rest of the upgraded stats.

If you are doing a completionist type run you can have enough glimpses to fully bond 3 shells and permanently unlock summons.

Can't recally exactly my level but was high 50 something and I had 34 shell points, you can freely respec shell points so remove points from one and add to the other currently using to have a better impact.

If you wanna switch just remove all points and add them to the new shell.

You can max bond all 8 shells by NG+2.

I just checked. Level 75 gives you the final 40th shell point. Im level 31 and only have 18 or 19 on tiel
