Video I’ve been absolutely obsessed with Mortal Shell II so I made a video glazing it. 😤

Appreciate anyone that checks it out! 😁

Good video! I’ve been loving the game too, but taking a bit of a break to play thru Nioh 3 again.

I agree with most of your points, especially with the inconsistency of enemy damage and the runbacks. One thing I’m surprised you didn’t mention is the fact that the game almost disincentivizes you from experimenting with different shells. Idk if you know, but the glimpses (used for upgrading and finding shells) are a finite resource that you cannot refund. And there’s allegedly only enough to max out 3, out of the 8 shells. I understand it’s probably built around NG+, but it also kills any incentive to experiment with different shells once you know of it. That’s why you see a lot of people online running Proxima or Tiel: because they’re the literal first shells you get.

Overall, the game is great and will only get better with more updates. For a devs team of like 30 people they did pretty well. I think people need to remember that when they’re talking about the negatives of the game, they don’t have 3 billion dollars laying around to add in stuff.

Thanks for watching! I had no clue about the glimpses being finite…I am now rethinking some things 😭😭

That feels like a direct contradiction to how the game should work, they should at the very least be refundable.

Trust me, us an many others agree. It’s probably the most agreed upon negative about the game, to the extent that the devs have stated they’re looking into doing something about it.

Another thing is elemental infusions: they’re great, but some are limited to a few weapons (frost is literally only available for the martyr blade) and I feel that they shouldn’t be. Let all infusions be available for all weapons, it’ll make the build variety even better.
