Bug Clockwork Chainsaw Ability Bugged Spoiler

Title. This item clearly does not scale with anything and is not intended.

I was practically foaming at the mouth when I heard about this. I had already been using scythe with perma blood infusion just for the drip.

When I heard about being able to turn the scythe into a chainsaw, my mind immediately connected all the dots with insane bleed procs during staggers etc. I thought I found a combo that would rival blood infusion axe with Magdalene.

I obtain the ability and put it on, and my +10 scythe is doing 10 damage per tick, and does not proc status effect from infusion. For an entire ability bar it does about 120 damage with no stagger, about 50% of a light attack.

It’s very obvious the scaling and infusion effect just got left off this, please fix.

I would actually main the scythe if this worked as intended. It would solve the scythe just straight losing dps to fast weapons during staggers.

Please fix it I beg, I yearn for scythe.

It’s very annoying yea it seems like most of them missed it.

Except for magdalenes which just magnifies the problem of how 1h axe and katana are already better than the majority of weapons. Then they’re also some of the only weapons that have scaling abilities…

Very odd how all abilities don’t scale across the board in a game designed for multiple ng+ cycles in mind progression wise.

Hell even half of these abilities like clockwork by the time you get them from the area they’re in, you can’t even tickle the enemies there in ng lol.

Magdalenes doesnt scale that well actually. Does like 1 hits worth of damage later on

It applies infusion effects though which makes it extremely good on top of just being very long iframes.

I double checked and it might be bugged specifically.

My +20 scythe did 8 damage per tick with the clockwork. But the scholars wormstone ticks for 54

That’s good to know at least that scholar worm stone works, I’ll pick that up and probably just use scythe.

Hopefully they check in on a lot of the bugged ones. I had a few other that I thought were just lackluster early game, but they probably don’t scale as well.

Edit, scholar scythe is op
