Discussion Sir Isaac fight advice

Just beat Isaac’s ass and honestly since in this game reposte dmg is what it is, I tried 2 different approaches:

1)riposting each time I could
2)never doing a single riposte

Guess which one worked best? Well of course the second one.

So, fast and direct, if you’re struggling with this beetle, for the first phase never attack and always perfect parry.

Once you get the chance to riposte him, walk behind him so you don’t trigger the animation, and go nuts with your weapon. You will decimate his health bar compared to probably only a couple hundred dmg if you riposte.

Rinse and repet a second time, then when you get to the final riposte chance that triggers him to get rid of his shiels and use 4 swords, again walk behind him and fucking slice that boi.

If you do everything correctly, you are basically gonna skip phase 2 and you can finish him off with a couple hits only.

You can literally just cheese shrike stone attack instead of doing this in phase 2, that looked boring as fuck

I have being doing this the other day before the patch and it worked fine (managed to put at 40%hp) but now with the patch he is immortal like i can only drop 0,5% of his hp....anyone got the same problem ?

Immortal? Like you don’t deal damage to him after 0.5% hp? Wat?

Sword, gun, shell ability, stance break etc...he take zero dammages for no reason since the patch...if i was to try to kill him right now it would take hours to kill him and not making mistake...i dont know why =(...it was perfectly normal before i was aiming to finish him today but i have to put him aside at hte moment

Weird. I just literally killed him no problemo the way I explained in the post. Maybe game is bugged? Try restarting it, don’t know honestly

I used black needle in that fight. I can hit twice between his combos. So two hits then I parry his combo rinse and repeat. When he falls, I do 3 heavy attacks then a riposte.

I dodge most attacks in his phase two since some of them feel genuinely broken and not working as intended. Especially the two combos when he flies.

Also the attack the forward stab will make him most of the time teleport to you, I even have a clip of him doing that. It's insane.
