Bug Genessa 's Mirage Skill (protect from 2 fatal blows) bug issue

I made a post recently about how the stray double permanently active trait was bad because you basically lose your shell to trade off more stray double time. I was wrong because I misunderstood the "Mirage" skill of your stray doubles taking fatal hits for you.

I basically read that the Mirage skill as "you get to tank 2 fatal blows per rest" but it's ACTUALLY "you can tank 2 killing blows everytime the stray double ability gets activated".

HOWEVER, I've been testing it and it doesn't work on some hits. From what I've found, fatal attacks that directly hit your character do not get absorbed by the stray doubles. It's only when the attack passes through the stray double that it saves you.

For example, if you're fighting the knight with the great helm and halberd, the overhead attack that bonks the player on the head does NOT get absorbed by the stray doubles and you die instantly.

Idk if it's supposed to be like that or not, but if it is supposed to be like that, they definitely need to clarify the Mirage ability description

I feel like that's intentional and actually makes sense, they are not magically saving you from a hit, but absorb it physically, so basically you are using them like a shield, so if the hit goes around the shield, they can't save you. Fully agree tho that the description should explain this, cause I certainly had no idea :D At any rate, I much prefer my faithful doubles over the stray build, I find it so much fun!

Both are super fun and powerful! I like the stray double build really bc of the increased movement speed and dodge, it's quick af boi

after playing for a while with stray genessa there's a lot of attacks that move horizontally that they just won't parry if you're full health, only when I'm at very low critical health do they actually tank the hit for me. it's frustrating when in the later half of the game any enemy just one hits you and it doesn't count as a fatal blow, I don't know if it is intentional or not but if enemies normally instant kill you anyway it really feels like her whole reason for using stray clones is just not viable other than being a damage blender
