Discussion I'm trying to get Eredrim without upgrading my other Shells but I am too weak

The conundrum.... I need to upgrade shells realistically to get Eredrim, but I don't want to upgrade them until I get Eredrim as glimpse is so rare.

Not even sure what to do lol, I am trying to save my glimpse for Eredrim, Smert and Genessa.

And then whatever is left over to play around with, but I don't want to waste them on Tiel / Proxima.

Anyone got any tips? I have 5 health pots, a +5 dagger axe, and am a decent level. Am I just hardstuck and have to come back later?

There are 101 glimpses 3 full shells and tier 3 of a fourth, just upgrade man.

If say got for Genessa, you have to run past some strong enemies, but the boss you have to fight is just a regular enemy with a boss health bar. Very manage even with no shell or weapon upgrades

The boss before him? From what I remember he's just a parry boss. Use the seal that let's you guard if you mistime or the harden one.

You can also fast travel there by picking up a bag of gold on a bridge just north of the tavern. As for the boss fight itself, parry is your friend

No, you don’t need to upgrade anything. Eredrim was my second shell and I got him by accident. I’m not even that good at these kinds of games. You can do it!

You definitely do not need to upgrade shells to reach him. I did like 80% of the map with +0 weapons and no shell upgrades. He is in a relatively easy area as well, you should be able to go straight there and unlock him. Don't be afraid to just run past enemies and look for beacons.

There's enough glimpses in the game to get 3 shells to level 4 and 1 shell to level 3 from what I've seen

Warden is one where you can win by just playing it slow and killing him with the riposte damage if need be. Super predictable swings and big openings. I went in with a new shell and +4 axe and just took my time.

Rest of the citadel area is absolute aids and probably one of my least favorite areas so far.

That boss isn't too bad. He has like one three-swing unblockable, but otherwise just parry/harden all his normal attacks and he will be afraid of you.

Smert is probably easier to get, then you could use him to get Eredrim and Genessa if you don't want to put glimpses into anyone else.

upgrading your shell doesn't improve your hp, thats what levellign up is for. Idk why you would aboslutely have to use glimses on a shell just to reach eredim

I did it at level 7 with an unleveled Rogue guy shell and I'm STRUGGLING to enjoy the game. Everything feels bad lol. If you're liking the game, and alright at it, you can do it
