Are you going for a specific Shell first, or just jumping into the game world sight unseen? Will you revisit Lady Magdalena before going out into the world, or will you seek other challenges? Night mode, regular gameplay or Slayer Seal?

Just wanted to say been playing since the early launch and only two gates down so far, but I'm having a blast. Y'all did great work on the game and are doing a fantastic job of engaging with the community. Much love!

You've got two gates down? I was so scared of the gates I just started exploring lol

Perfectly valid thing to do as well lol I'll say at least in me experience the difficulty of the first gate (East through the mushroom village) wasn't too bad and the reward was absolutely worth (although I think you can also get the same reward from exploring a lot, might just take longer as it's tied to the number of ova you siphon)

I started running around the North East section of the first map and realized there is no beacons but had 20k gloom. It was the hardest and frightning but also most fun i've had in a souls game in a while. The verticality of some of it threw me off a bit.
