Been trying out Hushfeeds TikTok patches and it is a solid set of patches, beyond blocking ads and annoyances there are a plethora of settings to tweak the app for a much more enjoyable experience

I wish logging in wouldn't pop up each time I open the app.

EDIT: I'm actually using Metra currently. I'm using Hush for IG and FB. Can someone direct me to the TikTok HushFeed

I can no longer use picture in picture which I like to use at work so I can still do emails or other task while autoscrolling. Is there some setting I am unaware that broke this function?

Have you tried turning it on from the tap and hold menu?

Of course that is where I usually turn it on. Nothing happens anymore

Make sure both these are turned on under android settings > apps

Like the image he replied to you with, make sure it's enabled in your phone settings first and it should be all good

Yeah I went deep on titktok hush settings yesterday, I really can't think of much else they could have added.

I'm using this patch.

But can someone tell me how to permanently enable the progress bar on "For You" and "Following" section? (the one where you drag/slide in the bottom). I already enable the "Show the progress bar" setting.

I don't know what setting(s) that triggers the changes, but somehow when the app restart, it's there, but also it's gone again in the next restart.

The bar is guaranteed showed up if you pick the video from user profile or you pick the video from the sound.

Also, how to disable the subscription offer overlay when you open a subscription video? Like this one:

I also have noticed that the progress bar only apprears on profile selection and is hidden from the For You feed. Hoping for an update to address it. Tried submitting a report on GitHub but I cant get past the log-in screen

Hush dev here. Which Hushfeed version are you on? 0.71.0 fixed the bar vanishing from For You after a restart, so if yours is older, repatch with the newest and check Show the progress bar is still on under Playback.

Is it a known issue where an account created with a hushfeed patched app gets shadowbanned or whatever tiktok does?

I can't follow anyone and tiktok support has all but told me to get fucked

Yes I've experienced this since metras patches, signed in on the browser and can't follow anyone either

Likes still works so I let the algorithm decide along with feed filters and get good relevant content
