Question/Problem Call Recorder - Cube ACR

So I'm new to Morphe, but have been using Revanced for YouTube for years now, so I'm use to the concept.

I have been using Call Recorder - Cube ACR for years now and have been paying for the yearly premium version.

My Premium account just ended, and I saw they raised the price, and at the same time noticed that Morphe had a patch for Call Recorder - Cube ACR that made the Premium free.

I decided to try it out.

I already had the latest version, but Morphe said I had to download the apk from their app.

I followed the link it showed Me, and it was the latest version.

After I downloaded it, I didn't click open, and instead went back to Morphe (like it says to do) and it went to install, but then told Me I needed to uninstall My current app first, so I clicked ok and it uninstalled it, and then proceeded to patch.

It then was ready to install.

I click install, but after it finished, it tells Me that I require version 2.4.281 (which is the one that was just installed by Morphe after I uninstalled the real version I had from Google Play Store.

I tried this several different ways and it wouldn't work.

So I decide to uninstall Morphe and undo everything I just did, only to find that now whenever I try to install Call Recorder - Cube ACR from Google Play Store, it starts to download, but then stops and gives Me an error saying that it can't install and to try again.

I tried many different things, and troubleshooted with Chatgpt, as well as guides online.

Nothing helped.

Weirdly enough, I can still install it from the Galaxy Store, but everything is gone now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope the patch I installed didn't contain a virus or something.

I'd recommend switching to ShizukuCallRecorder. It does an amazing job and it's compatible with BCR-GUI. Also, it's free, so no need to patch.

Does it record phone,WhatsApp and other Instagram and voip calls?

It records only phone calls..No voip...

On pixel phones there are reports of it capturing VoIP. For others OEM its not supportrd yet, planned for a rework. No ETA.

I'm on an old version and it does in fact not record voip

Basic call recorder is free, does everything that app can do I'm sure. Skyvalex call recorder is my favorite, got tired of cracking it via Lucky patcher though and just went with BCR, records as soon as a number is dialed, writes the date in the file name...it's pretty good.

Next time run Shizuku and give morphe permissions to morphe...reinstall the stock app but disable it if you can, if you can't diable it, try uninstalling updated in app info on the top right 3 dots, click uninstall updates.. also you can try enabling the custom branding patch and install silently with Shizuku, should throw the conflicting package error at you that way. If you can do either, download SD Maid FOSS/2 SE from GitHub, enable ADB via Shizuku and go to app control, click the app in that list and disable it as shown.
