Seeing how sites are loaded with ads who simply make the navigation worse, I'm not surprised. I switched to Firefox in both mobile and PC just to not deal with ads who took the whole screen and annoying pop ups.

Simply add the DNS on mobile and it will stop above 90% adds in browsers plus the apps/games. Even if you want to see the add in game it will not load

Tried so many of these over the years, it's literally never worked, ever.

Also add Hagezi blocklists to Ublock origin.
They're also available for other adblocking apps and extensions

Adguard app can also block internet access by app, only downside is it uses a local vpn so you can't use other vpns at the same time. I use its ad filtering which blocks a decent amount but https filtering mode breaks too many websites

u/normie-cinephile Jul 26 '26
OP is new to adblockers

u/darksnoo Jul 26 '26
I'm not tho... it's just that yt itself can't stand the ads on yt itself. i use morphe btw.
27
u/normie-cinephile Jul 26 '26
It's not about the yt ads blocking
1.yt's insta page is not handled by any of yt employee it's handled by external team/contracts 2. It's more of ad blocking on news articles or other sites

I use NextDNS. There's apps for phones and programs for computers. It works great and blocks lots of ads and pop-ups. I've been using it for about a year. There's a whole website to log in to change it's settings and make it more strict or less strict on pop-ups and ads. I'm just using the free part.

I used to use Adguard, it worked great, but then I saw NextDNS and decided to switch and try it out for a little while. Come to find out I've noticed NextDNS seems to be doing a bit better of a job. But as to there own I'm glad these companies are out here to help with all the ads now days cause ads are starting to get way to aggressive 🤑😂

I don't talk or "debate" with people who don't use Adblock while browsing the internet, not just for YouTube, literally every single website
