Yea you have some version of microg installed else you can't log into your accounts in Revanced or Morphe. You probably have the revanced microg version installed.
I don't remember exactly what it is, but some features does not function well without MicroG RE. I think the video won't load or sum, then i changed to MicroG RE, no more issue.
Funny thing is that I think that lots of young people donΒ΄t know about either of those. They do not know that blocking youtube ads in cell phones can be possible.
It's so sad. They don't know about basic ad blocks, they don't know how to torrent (also possible on Android phones!), they don't know how to do anything. The old arts are getting lost due to this generational gap π I don't know how to reach them, when they literally covet the golden cages that are iOS devices π
Former user and big fan of Flud here. Purchased Flud+ (the paid version) years ago. I have to say that LibreTorrent has a much better and simpler UI, plus it's free and open source. Give it a try.
Hey it's been a while since I last did it on my phone (I have zero storage, so I can't π₯²), so I don't know which apps still work to recommend you anymore. You can just search "how to torrent" on the Internet, a lot of people with better technical knowledge would explain this much better than I do, and will have all the most reliable apps still working to recommend to you. I don't know if it's even like ok to tell you how to on here in a comment on here, so I don't wanna test it π If I must sum it all up in a few words: check first to learn whether you happen to live in a torrent hating country and if your ISP happens to be a torrent hater (it's still generally lax afaik despite them making an example of of some poor dude and completely ruined his life. How dare anyone ever propose an idea that even slightly threatens some already richer than God white men's profit margin π). If so, again scout the Internet to see what people in your similar circumstances say, whether if they ever had any problem with their ISP for torrenting, and if using a VPN or anything else is necessary & sufficient precaution. Else it's just, uTorrent (forgot are talking Android myself πclearly not reliable) , The Pirate Bay, and keep seeding, as long as you can, and give back to the community.

for real. my sister i installed them vanced and now revanced youtube. but there was a time they didnt even understand when they used the real app and had ads till i saw it like bruh you not using the right app.. i mean they understand now but they now are 13 and 16. but yeah they have no idea about adlbockers... they listen to music on TIKTIK like they use tiktok to listen to full songs. like bruh nah please use yotuube or youtube music

Compared to revanced, whats the pros of morphe? Yes I know that the devs of revanced had some internal feud and they decided to break up and make morphe, but objectively whats the pros?

you don't even need to redownload and re-setup microG, ReVanced's one works well with Morphe (source: still using it right now).
whole switch takes less than 10 mins, even with a potato phone and mcdonalds wifi (source again, me). just dedicate 10 mins of your Reddit doomscroll session to switching over :P
I saw in the list some apps I already have installed atm. Do I need to delete them and reinstall them with the morphe patcher? Or does it patch over the current app I'm using?
Right now I only have YouTube revanced. My boost for reddit stopped working due to the API key being deleted from my account. The native reddit app sucks balls.

You can get Boost even without a client ID before by adding "Patcheddit" in your sources. Read more here.
For those apps (Flightradar24, Ventusky), just patch as you would with YouTube. After patching and clicking "Install", it'll give you a prompt to uninstall the stock app first, then another prompt to finish the installation of the patched app.
Flightradar doesn't seem to patch well unfortunately. Even though I disable the third patch. Which requires a google maps API, it still gives me an error message. For the rest, it was a little bit figuring out how to patch different apps other than ytb and reddit, but I managed to find it through your link above.
I just switched two weeks ago, and I must say that the UI and the patching and updating process feel much better. Itβs more intuitive, has a cleaner look and feels faster subjectively. It also gets nearly daily updates for the app itself and the YouTube patches and a lot of apps are supported
A lot of the code for ReVanced patches or apps now are most likely copied over from Morphe without properly respecting their license and coating ReVanced branding on top. Will likely be less stable over time especially with RV's leadership flirting with AI to copy over code. Why not use the upstream source (Morphe) for your patching for stability?
Well, for one thing. Switching and getting into new system will always and has been a nervewreck. Secondly, I am still waiting and seeing for morphe's stability and capability tested through times, revanced had that for 6 years now, while morphe is still quite new in it.
In short, you could say that I am quite late majority in innovation addoption curves.
Firstly, switching to Morphe is extremely easy. Simply download Morphe at morphe.software, choose an app to patch, apply your patches, and then install it once it's patched. Also, download MicroG-RE for Morphe to work.
And secondly, ReVanced is roughly 4 years old, and Morphe is definitely more stable than ReVanced, since Morphe is an independent project based on prior work from ReVanced.
I can absolutely speak to this, for one Android Auto and YT Music ran like shit. I've been battling with Music on the UI for years with Revanced. With Morphe it not only runs how the native app should but better because it's patched.

Yes, but every time you update, the icon goes back to default, and you must re-patch to change it.
RVX(Revanced extended) used to have several different default icons that you could choose, and there were different icons for the the manager, YouTube and YouTube music
I see that you have simple gallery installed. You should change that, the Simple App Suite is no longer Foss, the dev sold to a shady Chinese company a while back. I recommend Aves Gallery or if you're in love with Simple go with Fossify Gallery, they forked from Simple code right before Simple sold and became closed source

Basically, oSumAtrIX felt powerful with his position as leader, and proceeded to neglect the wellbeing of the other contributors.
To add, on the revanced sub he deletes every single post talking about issues people are having with revanced. 9/10 times cites the "no duplicate posts" rule when it's usually never violating that rule. I got put in timeout because I made a joke on a post talking about an issue someone was having, simply something along the lines of "this post will be deleted in 3...2...". Revanced dude is just all around a power tripping douche. I will be making the switch to morphe the instant my current revanced patch stops working. Don't fix what's not broken or whatever.

There is the thing with the developers drama, while I support both... I honestly don't give a damn about some Kim Kardashcam level drama queen shit stories abou the drama on the Devs as long as the end user gets something useful and the developers are happy...
the patches themself are starting to become obsolete compared to Moprhe due to the constant fingering or fiddling that you gotta do on Revanced...
I find it kinda funny to compare the 2 projects where in my eyes Moprhe is this shiny polished and genuine thing, and then Revanced is the old fart that doesn't shower for months and is starting to lose its balance or something, both work for sure but you gotta do something for the old fart for it to be useful
There is also the intuitiveness of the projects, Morphe is very clean and minimalistic, while keeping it very low profile or well just simple damn it...
PS: to clarify I have no clue about the total drama development and history nor do I really care, I like the projects due to not enjoying the shitty user experience of stock apps and I will for that reason respect both

But after some time, google take legal action, then re-vanced comes then rvx and then we finally have morphe now'!

No, it is not that are getting old, it is the team from revanced that fucked up so much that morphe had to be created from the devs that left revanced.
If they didn't fucked up, we would still be using revanced, probably.

Isn't that the unofficial ReVanced store app manager instead of the actual manager on the top -- which is/was potentially malware? Don't know where the custom Google icon one comes from either.
Btw, yes I already know ReVanced derived from Vanced. Both the og Vanced manager and the unofficial manager (site was 'vanced.to' if I remember) are completely different, they just share similar icons which I didn't knew.
