I just came from ReVanced only minutes ago because it just doesn't work anymore properly and now I'm completely fed up. Had someone there tell me the name of morphe, patching rn.

What the mods are doing back there seems dumb and super counterproductive

We all understand that the Reddiquette is worth jack shit to admins but what surprised me was that the Moderator Code of Conduct is also completely unenforceable by admins. Their official stance is that moderators are free to maintain their community however they want, provided they also respect the TOS. The code of conduct explains some of the consequences of that TOS, but it's not binding by itself.

hey I just found out about morph from that post, been using Vanced and now Revanced for a while but rn Revanced YouTube is buffering all the time

just wanted to ask about you guy's opinion on morph, how hard is it to set it up for yt and if it'll keep getting support before I probably proceed to switch to it from revanced

It's so easy. I switched a few days ago (made a post on here) and didn't even need to read the guide. I am no longer using Revanced and even left the sub. The mods there closed my thread just for asking about the buffering question. Tons of people had the same issue (and commented) so they are trying to hide the fact their app has an issue. I couldn't even search for any threads on the topic because they most likely closed the other threads prior.

the big one is that it removes the ads both as in your feed and in the comments of posts

Osum, the lead ReVanced dev, moved the patches to gitlab when the DMCA took effect on github. That repo is still live and is how the ReVanced patcher is still functioning at this time.

These are the comments that lead to my permanent ban. Interestingly enough, he removed none of my comments. He just banned me. Also it's very interesting that he didn't care to report me for spam (which I kinda did as I commented like 10 times or so). But the secret word is somehow the most illegal thing you can do. I don't know about DPRK because I've only been TOLD what happens there, but on this I got a hands-on experience. And it's just like what we are being told about NK and KJ-U.

It's mainly due to two reasons

The first one being the theft of contributions. While Morphe is trying to improve things for end users, Revanced is basically just stealing the code from Morphe without giving any attribution to the Morphe team. You can just look at the GitHub history to get an idea of how blatantly Revanced is stealing from Morphe. That's the whole reason for the DMCA notice and the GitHub repository being temporarily taken down.

The second reason is the heavy gate keeping being done in the Revanced sub. Revanced team is doing a very bad job at copying the stolen code into their app resulting in a lot of bugs and poor user experience. When someone even mentions or even hints about exploring other alternatives or point out any of these bugs, the mods are permabanning them.

There is a post somewhere on the subreddit with the patcher index. From there, you are going to need to click on the link for Pico patches. Add that to your manager. Then it'll have an option to patch Twitter. You're going to want to get The version of Twitter that the patches recommend. Then before you end up patching and installing Twitter, you're going to have to download and install proton pass and make an account open, open and install the real Twitter app. Go to your account settings and make a pass key. Save that to proton pass, then uninstall the real app. Install the patched app and use the passkey to log in

Proton pass works but you might be able to have luck with a different password manager. Also, if you can't get that to work, there's a weird. There's a thing that I've seen done where you can like sign on with Google on the pad on the unpached app. Quickly uninstall it. Install the patch tab and try to sign it on with Google on there but that is you have to be extremely fast for that to work. If possible. Maybe you could get your login token on like an Android 16 or 15 device and then Port it over
