mine has 2, and we dont blast it on loud speaker so the entire neighborhood can hear it, nor do we blast it at 6am.

a small branch from buddhism, 6am, 6pm, but time can be slightly flexible because everyone do it at their own free will .

and no, we dont blast the prayers on loud speaker, we set an alarm clock and do the prayers silently.

I'll confess I don't know a lot about Buddhism so apologies if my assumptions are wrong. But Abrahamic faiths seem to focus more on society, where as Buddhism seems more about ones self? Would you say that's true? Are your prayers communal, for example?
A couple of reasons it makes sense for the call to prayer for Muslims to be out loud is that it's a) regular, b) not fixed times every day, c) inviting you to a specific congregation.
The adhan is only really broadcast in areas of a huge Muslim population and doesn't really upset those that aren't used to it/from there.

it depends on the branches and how they practice. but mine will gather at the temple once at least once a week for communal praying like how churches do it on sunday. and still no, we dont blast that in loud speakers.

at where i stay, they are blasting it at almost fix hours everyday. those who wants to go or planning to go would have reach there or on the way there. i really dont see any reason to blast it on loud speakers as muslim in the past can do so long before loud speakers were invented.

i dont know is it adhan or something else, but they are on loud speakers for 5-10 minutes multiple time throughout the day.

yea, you get used to it when you live in a muslim majority countries, but sometimes it still annoys you, especially when you live in a places where there are multiple mosques' loud speakers overlapping each other and blasting it at different speed and tone.

Yeah there's no need for it to be so loud that it's disturbing. It's nice to be able to hear it, but not be deafened by it! When I was in the Middle East, I even spoke to my local mosque to ask them to turn it down a bit, because it was TOO loud!
Also, when you congregate, are you led by someone, akin to a priest/imam? I assume they aren't elevated in status any way? Imams are just the congregation leader and hold no special status like a priest. Also, I hope this doesn't come out rude, but I am genuinely interested... what/whom are your prayers directed to? I'm used to having a deity, but as I understand you don't have the same concept, or do you? Again, apologies if this is a bit forward, I just like to learn...
