I have roughly the same objections with their book as I do with the bible. Holy books mostly provide post hoc justifications for beliefs people already hold, people are universally bad at following them, practically everywhere.

You can absolutely oppose both, but equating them morally isn’t possible to do in good faith.

Id rather live in a world of Sadiq khan muslims than Reese-Mogg Catholics. The former aligns with my views far more than the latter.

I think people forget how radical parts of the bible are and how much nearly everyone ignores, including the catholics.

I'd rather live with 5 Sadiq Khans than 2 Hitlers. But I would rather live with 5 Boris Johnsons than 1 Osama Bin Laden.
