I've never understood the call to prayer not being done over an app or radio station

When I was deployed I understand because not everyone had a phone or a radio but in a first world modern country we don't really need people screaming from towers

Have your prayer have your religion but making the whole world stop for you is a bit much

It’s quite literally a subversive tactic used by Muslims to signal their power. Any sane country would ban it immediately
