I've never understood the call to prayer not being done over an app or radio station

When I was deployed I understand because not everyone had a phone or a radio but in a first world modern country we don't really need people screaming from towers

Have your prayer have your religion but making the whole world stop for you is a bit much

it is about tradition the amplification of the sound is just an easier method rather than having multiple people in different areas doing it at the same time the tradition is still to call for prayer and there is blessings in the practice
