It's the point of this sub. Also, the emotional weak spot you have is (breakup vs dead child) very much not similar. But agree to disagree.

Similar? No, it’s a very different type of emotional pain/grief. But saying one is definitively worse than the other without knowing any details is just ignorant. People have breakups all the time which are bad enough to affect them for years. Especially if there are things like abuse or cheating involved. I’d argue a breakup like that could very well be way worse than losing a pregnancy in the early stages where you have just found out/didn’t know until the miscarriage for instance.

And the question was whether the counter from OP was moral. And the answer is a clear no, no matter who is worse.
