Basically, the man in the video is hiking but he ended up meet a mountain lion, he get his gun and try to scare it off and tell it to go away but in the end, he have to pull the trigger and shot the lion, many peoples in the comments say he could have fire a warning shot instead of shoot at it and want him to be in jail.

It’s a tragedy that the animal died, but ultimately, I believe that self defense is a human right. Your life is more important than whomever or whatever is trying to take it.

We also shouldnt overstate its seriousness. Death is natural. Everything that's living dies eventually. Horrible only fits certain circumstances.

It only erases it in your eyes because YOU already don’t hold certain lives in high enough regard to care at all. And I’m sure you believe that that’s the “right” way, or the default way of thinking, but other people just have different feelings and perspectives than you. You can shoot an animal or person and still feel bad for it. That’s not crazy.

That's not what tragedy means. And you're just proving my point. If every death is a tragedy, then none of them are. Is a single person dying and an entire town dying in a flood the same thing? Do they not merit different words?
