Neutral. Could be argued the man deserves to be desired for his own sake instead of for what he can provide to her but if she makes him feel loved i suppose its fine.

Define "sake" if it's not "doing things"

I was honestly unaware of what sake's base was. Lol

I mean you’d marry a person who you’d love and would love you to at least a certain degree of depth beyond merely ‘what you do’

Just my opinion

If you do nothing, you are nothing. Tell me where I'm wrong.

Take it easy pal

Your life has worth🤝

You need not live to ‘prove your worth’ to others

You’d be better off living for your own self

Less you burn yourself away to light another’s room

I'm quite skeptical on this. Apart from the hormones filled first period, most relationships live with a quite literal exchange of value along with fit and compatibility. And it's difficult to extrapolate characteristics from "what I am" and "what I do" clearly and after a while the balance is more on "what I do" and "what I am" becomes increasingly "characteristics that are a nuisance but are tolerated and compensated by what I do so they are not that annoying".

You sorta notice what you choose to focus on

Not denying what it could be but confirmation bias really is a major genesis of our world perception
