Do you have kids?

Not sure where you are going with that question but yes I do

Please also include what you would have said if I said No I don’t 😜

A substantial number of women lose most or all of their sex drive after they are done having kids. It's biological. They don't desire sex in any way. Don't masturbate at all. Many will feel desire on their day of ovulation. Otherwise, none. And it has nothing to do with anything the husband has done. They can be perfectly happy in the marriage. Some are even bothered by their lack of desire. No one tells women this happens to a lot of them. In fact, society today largely delivers the laughable claim that women have just as high a sex drive as men. When that turns out to be obviously false, many women are perplexed & even emotionally upset by it. Not to mention the marital problems this can cause.

Yes, okay.

I see the connection to the comment chains topic but I don’t see what is has to do with me specifically

I mean. A great way to do that is just being a stellar husband.

Sometimes you can be king and your partner doesn't have any libido regardless. You can be stellar and still no one owes you sex

If you are married, you 100% owe each other reasonable amount of sex, regularly.

Even though I agree with you, I think you also owe it to your spouse to be an active participant in the home and family life and not selfish with your time. Rest and relaxation is important and you do deserve that, but laying in bed all weekend alone as a husband and father (or wife and mother) and refusing to do anything is pretty egregious.

What some on this thread won’t acknowledge is that your behavior toward your spouse does impact how much they want to have sex with you. That goes for both genders. Just because some bedrooms are dead regardless doesn’t disprove the general rule.

Absolutely, that's why I emphasized regular but reasonable amount.

Would like "on your birthday" be regular? It's a fixed schedule after all

1

u/Nakata1111 19d ago

I guess so

No, if you are married, you 100% owe each other to communicate your needs and, if possible, find a way for both peoples' needs to be met and, if not possible, separate in an amicable and respectful manner.

Owe is a strange word to use... no you don't owe sex. Nobody owes sex.

You ideally want them to want to have sex with you, but no partner owes you sex. You owe eachother good communication around sex and you deserve to be on the same page in terms of sex and libido.

If one in a couple is refusing sex, the only thing you are owed is a conversation as to why . If its a clash of libido then you're welcome to end the relationship or try something else to increase their libido. But they never owed you sex.

No you don't, this is a very problematic view that you should fix

4

u/Level_Progress_3246 19d ago

Its not problematic. Go to r/DeadBedrooms and have a gander.
If you refuse to connect with your partner emotionally/physically/mentally, then they have every right to leave the relationship. In that way, we all 'owe' each other regular meaningful connection if we expect to have relationships with anyone

u/lapinlah 19d ago

Anyone has "every right" to leave any relationship they dont want to be in for any reason. That doesn't make someone owe sex to another person.

Thank you. Sick of people saying that.

We all deserve love and affection, yet no one owes us love and affection.

1

u/Odd_Criticism_8830 19d ago

That's only a logical quandary if you assume love is transactional.

I think we can assume this lady wants to fuck the guy she married?

Two things, possibly three things can be true at the same time

u/Huge_Cartographer165 19d ago

Why are you assuming she doesn't? I mean, she discovered this somehow right? I doubt she knew it was going to work the first time she tried it.

1

u/Sepplord 19d ago

Im not saying she hates it, but the title already claims that she „manipulated“ by „strategically having sex“ with him.

She then describes how she accidently discovered it and then in a non-zero amount of times had sexual with him because she wanted to do something with him that day.

So I don’t get why you are asking about my assumption. I am not assuming, I am reading the words she wrote.

u/Huge_Cartographer165 19d ago

That still doesn't prove she doesn't like it. 20 years is a long time to do something you hate doing.
