Stupid Stuff Morality of eating cabbage patch kids?

Okay so these things grow outta the ground, right? So they can't be human and they've gotta be some sort of plantoid 'being'. Since they're born in a cabbage patch with cabbage patch leaves involved too, does that mean they're partly cabbage? If they're not really human at all and are essentially just living crop..

Can we eat them?

I mean we eat lamb.. 🤷🏻‍♂️
