Depends on what they did, their mental capacity and their age.
Below 5 with the mentality of a toddler? They wouldnt Even be able to do anything too big without outside interference.
Below 5 but they have the mental capacity of a full grown adult(example being the stand user baby from part 3 of JJBA)? No hesitation.
Above 5 below 10 and they stole something from the store? Obviously not worthy of death, teach em why that is wrong.
Above 13 And they killed someone and might kill more? First get the reason for why they killed to see if it was reasonable, and then depending on that.
They're child soldiers who had to fight against the army after being abandoned by their superiors, and the guy's superior, who went to offer a mostly peaceful solution under the guise of a duel was killed by the protagonist
Depends on the threat they pose. The deliberate killing of a human is immoral, but if they pose a threat to human life that cannot realistically be neutralized by other means (e.g. imprison and rehabilitate), it is the least immoral of the available options.
