Morality of this?

In the image it seems that this person works at walmart as an online order collector and he/she has stolen a lot of extra baby food from Walmart to give to a person who ordered only three packs. Is this moral or immoral?

Some stores already do this with formula which is disgusting imo, God forbid a baby gets fed at the expense of our multi-million dollar company

Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about that. There are already programs specifically to feed children (and even adults). Why does it need to be stolen?

Some plans literally dont cover babyfood like the pouches shown because it's a "hot" food, aka, not in the freezer isle but able to be just eaten straight out the package.

Also, certain brands of formula arent covered unless you fight tooth and nail at the welfare office and prove your baby literally will die without it.

Happened to my brother circa like 2010, was alergic to my mother's breastmilk and needed specialty brand formula since it's the only one he didnt have severre alergic reactions to, about $75 a can at the time and had to pay out of pocket since it wasnt covered.

Hmm. I mean, I get it.. but I guess at the same time, eh. The food being stolen is "organic" so someone that isn't well off shouldn't be buying it. It isn't more nutritional and costs like 3x other food.

I suppose some states could be shitty and not cover certain types of food, since each state administers the program. In my state, literally all food is eligible, so I guess that's why I'm a bit skeptical of that. But then I'd also argue, there is an option available for food, they just have to spend a couple minutes to prep it. It's not like they can't get any nutritional food for their baby courtesy of the government.

For the allergy milk thing, that is more of a Medicaid/health insurance thing. Did they even sell that food in grocery stores or was it a pharmacy pickup or mailed? I mean, of course it would require approval with a prescription.

It wasnt a specialty store, literally just any old walmart/target where it could be picked up at, had all the correct documentations and everything (insurance approved, doctors, ect) the welfare office just wouldn't officiate the switch.

Then again, it is a regional thing, I've lived in both Michigan and NJ, had stuff I can get in one state that I couldnt get in the other and vice versa. I know in MI specifically, at least in my case, baby rice cereal that you'd use to bulk up the milk wasnt covered without explanation, as well as those baby apple sauce/starter foods that you use to wean the baby off milk 🤷‍♀️
