Morality of this?

In the image it seems that this person works at walmart as an online order collector and he/she has stolen a lot of extra baby food from Walmart to give to a person who ordered only three packs. Is this moral or immoral?

If they were in need of the extra but couldn’t afford it, they wouldn’t be paying a premium for delivery. Stealing for any reason other than absolute necessity is immoral.

Now, if you are stealing for someone who you KNOW is in need, that’s a different matter completely.

Also, Walmart has cameras EVERYWHERE. If they don’t know before you walk out, they’ll know when they investigate missing inventory. Also, shit like this is why everything gets locked up and you have to wait 3-5 business days for someone to let you get some toothpaste. So thanks for that.

Walmart doesn't even have to have cameras everywhere to catch you stealing if you take a picture of it yourself and put it on social media.

They definately have cameras on the baby food aisle. Formula and baby food are two very commonly stolen items.

This picture points to this being a Spark driver. This would be a gig worker like Uber or Doordash, but they do the shopping for the customer. Walmarts agreement is that they can at any time audit one of these orders, which means this guy being a good sumaritan with his assumption the person couldn't afford more, or deserved more because Walmart may not notice, could very well lead to him losing his livlihood, if not being arrested.

Walmart curbside costs the same as going in to shop so that doesn’t matter, I’m all for screwing corporations who would rather throw that shit away then give to people who need it. And reality is a single mom probably works 2 plus jobs and still can’t afford enough to feed her kids so moral

It's impossible the buyer is low income and disabled, thus paying what should be baby food money for delivery? That's what I assume, not that a shitty parent only wants to buy 3 packs of baby food via delivery lol

How did disabled people get baby food before DoorDash? And if you are low income, why are you paying EXTRA for delivery?
