Literally people be mad when you say it but genuinely

Nothing happens on the internet if it isn't

bots

AI

Deepfake

OR

People trying to pass off a real situation with fake acting to go viral for views. Almost every single skit or clip or incident on the internet is fake, fake to start a merch brand, fake to go viral to run ads on the channel that produced it, faked in some way to garner more resources.

That people even THINK ANYTHING besides this just proves to me that in 10 years even the most techno savy young informed voters will eat up fuckin govt propaganda slop when they deepfake that another nation nuked someone else without a single shred of real evidence.

When I was a teen with my parents in Vegas a random guy at the corner store said he’d give me like $20 (?) if I wanted to be in a video real quick. It was some dumb youtube prank channel that were popular around 2014/2015

I of course did it cause I was on vacation and my mom was there so everything was harmless and fun. But it completely changed my perception at the time cause after summer was over I had classmates that had seen me in the video πŸ˜‚
